Precise octave modulation pedal
Notes: Armed with 3 brand new algorithms and a true analog dry through signal, the Tender Octave MkII is sure to provide all your octave harmony needs. A very unique little polyphonic octave pedal with endless tonal possibilities.

The FAT algorithm contains a huge bassy lower octave that can shake the walls and a soft toned upper voicing, for a very natural feeling upper octave shimmer. Fat riffs and simulated bass guitar really shine in this mode.

The TIGHT algorithm has a more focused lower octave with a higher, low EQ cut off point and a sharper upper octave bite. Shredders, fusion players and organ hunters alike, will find sonic delight when flipping the switch into tight mode.

SWELL mode provides automatic volume swelling of the harmony voices, providing a soft attack and lush release whilst the original dry signal remains completely untouched. Great for emulating a 12-string guitar or creating ambient chords and sound scapes.

Solid & durable micro wah pedal with true bypass and solid metal shell for intensive use
Notes: Must the Wah pedal be in a huge size? Should the only way to switch the Wah pedal on/off by stepping to the bottom? Does the Wah pedal have any more functions? With all these questions, we developed a new Wah pedal---The Wahter. The Wahter recreates the vocal sweep and lush harmonics of the classic wah tone while keeping the tiny size. Using high-quality electronic components, ensuring a good response to your touch and smoothness of the tone. A unique pressure sensor switch design relieves you from the traditional foot switch design, enabling you to concentrate more on the guitar playing.

Product features:
1. Classic Wah tone
2. Solid and durable
The Wahter is equipped with solid metal shell, which can stand intensive use
3. Overturn the tradition
Unlike the traditional way of turning on/off the wah pedal, The Wahter is equipped with four pressure sensors. Simply put your foot on the pedal, the pressure sensor will sense your touch, and the LED will be lit up indicating the wah effect is in operation
4. True Bypass
The Wahter has a True Bypass design. When not in use, it will not affect the signals of other devices and therefore ensures the tone to be clear and lossless
5. MINI SIZE
The Wahter inherits the tradition of MICRO SERIES, keeping the size MINI.
6. "Transformer"
The pedal ring can be extended by pulling it out, achieving a larger contact area between the foot and the pedal and therefore enhancing the feeling of your touch. When it is not in use, the rings can be to the pedal, and The Wahter retains the MICRO SERIES pedal size
Requires 9V power supply
Two ways to play this pedal:
One: By rocking your foot back and forth on the pedal, in the traditional manner you can change the tone of your instrument instantaneously. Toe down will give you more treble, and heel down will give you more bass
Two: By tapping your foot on the pedal, the effect the tone can be set within the parameters and set. This is an unconventional way of using this pedal, but doesn't require the pedal to be fully depressed to return to stand-by mode. Try it!

Distortion effects pedal with rotary gain, level & tone controls
Notes: Shopping for a British distortion pedal? Try the NUX Brownie! The Classical British rock tones of the 1970's, packed into one little box. How it works? By using a hybrid of circuits, we created truly unique pre-amp and power tube distortion characteristics. You'll be amazed to hear the warm, organic tone that's reproduced. Brownie has a specially designed BJT input stage causing it to "break-up" when the preamp tube starts to distort. It also has an asymmetrical clipping circuit letting you simulate some of the characteristics of an actual tube amplifier. It also keeps the bottom-end tight by processing bass frequencies which can get muddy when distorted.

Nux Brownie uses a low-pass tone control filter to simulate the Variac effect (by lowering the voltage going into the amplifier) for rounding-off your tone. The range of tone is controlled yet perfect for dialling-in the high-end response. The power clipping circuit is crafted from a modern low-noise op-amp and 2 red LEDs. It can create symmetrical clipping that distorts both halves of the signal keeping the sound smooth. True bypass circuits with a high quality TPDP mechanical foot-switch gives the bypass its phenomenal signal clarity.

Delay effects pedal with rotary time, delay & mix controls
Notes: NUX's Konsequent Mini Pedal has re-defined delay! Excellent digital delay is more than the simple repetition of sound. When great sound engineers mix multiple delay onto a guitar recording track, there are some inherent challenges: Increase the rhythmic complexity without losing definition. The desired effects can range from trippy to groovy, or a blend of both. Konsequent packs an array of internal processors that replicate the very sound experienced studio engineers were perfecting in the 1980's using expensive rack-mount digital delay systems. The Konsequent does it at a fraction of the cost, and with the convenience of a mini-pedal.

Mini booster pedal with Clean & Crank boost options
Notes: Lacerate is a mini pedal with a huge boost! The unbelievably simple user-interface comes from our complex Dual FET Circuit Design, but don't worry about what's under the hood. Just enjoy the 1 Simple Control-Knob, 2 Boost Options, and 2 Bypass Modes. The 2 Boost Modes: Clean Boost In the Clean mode, Lacerate only boosts the signal, increasing the volume without any sound colorization. For this reason, Lacerate is one of the cleanest "clean boost" pedals available. Crank Boost If you want fat, harmonically rich boost tone, just hold down the foot-switch (1 second) to engage the 2nd stage which adds your overdrive tone. Most boost pedals will only yield about + 20dB maximum, but Lacerate's Crank mode gives you a whopping + 35dB. From average to huge!

Higher Voltage, Increased Headroom & Dynamic Lacerate has an integrated voltage-doubler which automatically changes 9V to 18V giving you ginormous headroom and dynamic. True Bypass or Buffer Bypass Doubling the voltage to 18V gives you better dynamic, but it also creates a better headroom buffer. A lot of professional guitar players start their signal-chain with a stand-alone buffer. Lacerate has an embedded selectable buffer bypass You can change the bypass mode by turning on the power while holding the foot switch.

Extremely tweakable pedal with squashed compression and overdrive
Notes: NUX Masamune is a sound-crafter pedal. It forges your dry-signal, enhancing your sound before sending your signal to your amp, and/or any effects unit. The Booster adds beneficial color to your signal, and, if necessary, after you adjust the boost & drive levels, you can cut high frequencies on your Input signal with the Hi-Cut Toggle Switch. Masamune's Kompressor does a remarkable job managing and enhancing your signal: Komp Level knob adjusts the final Output level for the Compressor, perfectly balancing your Input and Output signals. Sustain knob adjusts the compression ratio, and increases sustain. Higher sustain levels will squash your signal harder when you hit the strings and creates a longer, richer sustain. Blend knob adjusts the compressor transparency from 50% to 100%, so you can dial-in the exact amount of compressed dry-signal blend you want.

Reverb effects pedal with single rotary knob control
Notes: NUX Oceanic, a reverb effect as vast and deep as its name! Its minimalistic design sails past the competition giving you endless parameter choices with one single knob. Studio-grade hardware performance makes it an essential in your arsenal of effects. Room, Hall, and Square-wave or even Outer-space reverb. It's all there, with a simple twist of a knob. Pressing the footswitch activates a green-light indicator, transforming the DECAY knob into a wet/dry mix control. Demanding guitarists want a reverb that doesn't drown-out their tone, and Oceanic was designed with this in mind. Instead of dull and shallow you'll get a deep full-sounding reverb that's so seamless, you might even forget your jamming with it.

To make Oceanic a great digital reverb pedal, we used a powerful 32-bit DSP to process the complexity of its algorithm. To make it a unique reverb pedal, we programmed loads of studio-sound shaping parameters into that algorithm: Envelope Control, Multi-stage Cascade Diffuser, Multi-band Tone Decay Adjustment, Random Adjustment of Tail-tone Delay, and lots more! We even built in a compressor mould to help fine-tune your reverb dynamics. NUX is, once again, proud to re-define the mini pedal with Oceanic, a truly extraordinary reverb pedal. Oceanic can be switched in between true-bypass and buffer bypass.

NUX Rivulet Chorus Pedal (effects pedal)
NUX
Cat: 712771 Rel: 30 Nov 18

Chorus effects pedal with rotary rate, width & intensity controls
Notes: A crystal clear river. Flowing, transparent. The Rivulet design concept! Old-school Analogue Chorus has always been warm but it was hungry for dynamic completion. NUX's modern-tech DSP yields a perfect combination of both worlds: analogue and digital. To achieve all the Rivulet Chorus objectives, our engineers had to develop an algorithm that mimics the principles of BBD chips - the key component of Analogue Chorus effects. Rivulet's low-frequency provides the Traditional Analogue Chorus Tone discerning ears have come to expect in a true analogue chorus pedal. Dynamic Tone and Noise-Elimination ability puts Rivulet into a completely separate category from cheap analogue pedals. Quality-grade BBD chips in large mass have become incredibly rare, so this method is not practical for making an affordable analogue chorus device. Using DSP technology, NUX is able to offer a mini-pedal with a contrasting array of chorus tones.

MODERN CHORUS:

The Rivulet comes factory-loaded with NUX's tribute to the classic "Modern Chorus," the familiar Yellow Pedal with 5 knobs. We've consolidated the controls by eliminating the bass and treble knobs, now internally set at middle position, and we 've eliminated the need for the bass filter altogether, which is now automatically corrected through the advancements of DSP sound modelling.

70's CHORUS:

The first chorus effect pedal arrived on the scene in 1976. Before that, it was only available as a built-in effect on a classic jazz amplifier. Rivulet exactly replicates the characteristic of this pedal; that special warmth of a rich jazz atmosphere, an immediate recognizable highlight to any musician's tone.

80's CHORUS:

The classic original only came with Speed and Depth control parameters, just 2 small knobs, and yet it was recognized as one of the best chorus effects of the 1980's. Rivulet's 3 knob configuration provides the added benefit of a dry/wet signal ratio adjustment.

Overdrive effects pedal with rotary drive, level & tone controls
Notes: Genuine tube-like sound that makes it more than your average Tube Screamer!

More gain! That was the overall goal. If you're not playing through a real tube amp, cranked for overdrive, it's difficult to get genuine tube overdrive sound.

The original Tube Screamer pedals used an OP-AMP system, a basic circuitry that became popular for its "perfect amp" attributes. It had no distortion so it had to be overdriven or distorted by re-shaping the signal until it distorts (diode-clipping). Clipping it a little bit gives you Overdrive. Clipping it a lot gives you distortion.

But there's a better way!

Using an FET Transistor System, which already has overdrive and distortion capabilities is a better approach to maintain the genuine sound you get from an actual analogue tube amp. An FET allows you to bring out the harmonic attributes, and break-up the distortion into a finer grit, the way a real tube does.

Now, your leads will sing richer and longer, and your rhythm will be more open and expressive than ever before. It all culminates into an overdrive that is superbly dynamic, with crisp precise clarity that lets players cut through a dense mix, without losing fat mid-range.

Dynamic mic switcher
Notes: The Palmer DMS (Dynamic Mic Switcher) routes a microphone signal to two footswitch-selectable outputs.

The Palmer DMS is a passive unit for dynamic microphones only. The switch is instantaneous and is operated via a footswitch.

The DMS provides a wide range of applications:

- Switch your vocal mic between the FOH and monitor mixing desks to communicate with the monitor mixer or the band on stage.

- Two different sound configurations: to switch between different effects or sounds on your microphone, e.g. a "telephone effect" or more levels of reverb. Run the outputs of the DMS into two channels of the mixing desk, that you can configure
differently. Now you can freely toggle between them on-stage at any time.

- You can also use the DMS to route the signal to two rooms or zones and select either one.

Acoustic guitar preamp pedal & feedback eliminator
Notes: Bob Weir's Real Deal acoustic preamp by Pigtronix provides crystal-clear, super-loud acoustic guitar tone while faithfully maintaining the organic wooden sound of the instrument like no other pedal has ever done.

Bob Weir and long-time Grateful Dead tech guru and Weir's personal Front of House engineer, Mike McGinn, developed the principle behind the Real Deal in an effort to crank Bob's acoustic guitar loud enough in the live mix while retaining the natural, unplugged sound of the instrument. The technology they developed to achieve this goal involves using a pair of complimentary filters to split the acoustic guitar signal into low and high frequency bands, with independent preamp gain applied to each signal path. A mastering stage then combines the various inputs into a single mono output, resulting in a powerful world-class acoustic guitar tone.

Bob Weir challenged Pigtronix to design a pedal to perform this unique type of processing using a low-noise, all-analogue circuit, to deliver the ultimate live acoustic guitar sound. The engineering challenge involved with developing this pedal to create a realistic and amplified acoustic guitar sound in this way is no joke! First, the cut-off points of the two filters would need to be precisely matched and calibrated to avoid undesirable dips or bumps in the frequency response at the pedal's output. Second, in order to optimize the acoustic sound from venue to venue and for each different guitar, the cut-off point where the two filters overlap also would need to be variable across a huge frequency range.

As a solution, Pigtronix created a totally unique tracking filter. It allows the musician to adjust the cut-off point of both filters with a single knob, sweeping over a full decade of frequency range from 300 Hz to 3 kHz. This analogue filter array-at the heart of the Bob Weir's Real Deal acoustic preamp-uses Pigtronix custom-made optical components and 18VDC power to achieve the ultra-low noise and high headroom required when processing acoustic guitar.
Bob Weir's Real Deal acoustic preamp is universally compatible with any type of acoustic guitar pickup-from a simple, passive piezo element to complex active systems that use internal microphones, contact elements and/or magnetic pickups. A source switch determines whether the high and low bands are fed by independent sound elements (such as a mic and piezo installed in one guitar) or a single pickup that is then split and sent through both filters. Single-source mode has the additional benefit of allowing the Real Deal to be used to process the sound of an electric guitar or any other instrument. An additional TRS balanced input, equipped with switchable 48V phantom power, allows external microphones of all types to be incorporated as well.

In presenting Bob Weir's Real Deal acoustic preamp, Pigtronix is honoured to make a contribution to Bob's continuing legacy of sonic innovation. This legacy dates back to the late 1960s, when the Grateful Dead and their associates revolutionized the technology of live sound-re-defining the rock & roll concert experience. Over 50 years later, and in partnership with Pigtronix, Bob Weir is still innovating.

Stereo looper effects pedal featuring 2 stereo loops with sync & 50 presets
Notes: Pigtronix Infinity is the world's most musical looping pedal. Simple to operate, yet tremendously powerful and flexible, the Infinity Looper from Pigtronix sets a new world standard for latency-free looping. Our state-of-the-art looping platform provides instantaneous record, playback, dub, undo and redo, on two stereo loop pairs that can be configured in several ways. On top of superior speed and a unique, performance friendly feature set, Infinity Looper sounds downright incredible thanks to its discreet analog limiter stages, transparent analog pass-through and 24 bit / 48 kHz HD recording engine.

Infinity's innovative "SYNC MULTI" mode provides a multiplier function allowing the length of Loop 2 to be 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 times the length of Loop 1. The two loops can also be run out of sync or even in SERIES, for verse / chorus song structures. Ninja style input split mode assigns Input 1 to Loop 1 and Input 2 to Loop 2, effectively allowing performers to record and overdub separate instruments on separate loops, into isolated amps simultaneously.

The Pigtronix Infinity also provides a long awaited AUX Loop output intended to send looped audio to stage monitors. This is especially helpful for drummers to hear and stay in time. An expression pedal jack for Loop Volume allows hands-free control of the overall audio output. We thought of everything and kept only the F.A.T

MIDI input for beat clock sync causes loop start and stop points to obey Pro Tools or any other DAW / sequencer that outputs MIDI. The Infinity's USB access allows you to transfer your music to a computer at full 24bit, 48kHz resolution for further mixing, mastering or immediate publication. We have also implemented audio upload with automatic format conversion, allowing you to upload virtually any digital audio file onto the Infinity Looper.

Compressor effects pedal in micro-sized stompbox format
Notes: The Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Germanium Gold Micro brings back the original Pigtronix custom shop compressor/sustainer/distortion effect - in micro form.

This superlative version of the award-winning and top-selling Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone compressor takes the original pedal's optical sustain engine and lets you mix in a layer of germanium-enhanced distortion.

The unique diode arrangement found in the Germanium Gold version delivers a smooth top end and rich midrange response, tailored to match the characteristics of the optical sustainer driving it. If you felt that the original circuits in the Philosopher's Tone were brilliant, wait 'til you hear how the Germanium distortion adds to the overall character of this compressor/sustainer pedal! The clean side of the Philosopher's Tone remains the same; dial in your Blend and Volume to get the signal you desire. Use the Sustain knob to dial in the amount of compression you need. Higher settings on this control will provide a noiseless clean sustain previously unheard of in compression pedals, while retaining the original integrity of your tone.

What makes the Germanium Gold version unique is the GRIT control. More than a simple gain knob, the Grit knob found on the Philosopher's Tone Germanium Gold Micro acts as a blend for the germanium-enhanced distortion found in this unit. You can dial in more or less grit, depending on your tastes. Your clean and overdriven tones from the Philosopher's Tone can be blended perfectly with just the right amount of grit for your playing. This stompbox features true-bypass switching and runs on standard 9VDC power with an internal, voltage-doubling circuit providing the superior clarity and overall output of 18VDC power rails. The Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Germanium Gold Micro packs an unprecedented amount of boutique compression and germanium distortion into a micro-sized pedal.

Tracking 24dB/octave multimode filter pedal with 100% analogue circuitry
Notes: Pigtronix Resotron is an analogue filter that brings the sound of 70's keyboard synthesizers to the world of envelope pedals for guitar, bass and beyond. The filter at the heart of the Resotron is based on the SSM2040 chip found in the legendary Prophet 5 and Octave CAT synthesizers. This 24db/octave, state-variable filter provides the full gamut of familiar envelope filter sounds with UP and DOWN sweeping modes, and a sensitivity control to dial in the response of the effect based on how hard you play.

In addition to these vintage-correct filter tones, the Resotron pushes the envelope pedal concept to a whole new level by using an analogue pitch-tracking system to move the cutoff frequency of the filter up and down. The pitch-following filter effect found in the Resotron moves around based on the notes you play instead of how hard you play. The attack time and rate of filter motion can be adjusted - using the GLIDE knob - to dial in how long it takes for the cutoff to travel between pitches.

"The pitch-following effect found in the Resotron is analogous to the "key-follow" function found on the original Minimoog and many other classic analogue keyboards," says Pigtronix president David Koltai. "Using our all-analogue pitch-tracking circuit to control cutoff frequency, the Resotron delivers mind-blowing filter motion for guitar players. I've dreamt of making this pedal for years, and it's finally here."

The Resotron has the ability to operate in Low Pass, Band Pass or High Pass modes. Each of these filter voices has a distinctive character that can be manipulated by adjusting the PEAK knob, progressively feeding the filter back upon itself to increase the resonance (or "Q") of the filter, right up to the point of self-oscillation. A push-button OSCILLATE function allows you to go even further - turning the Resotron into an analogue synthesizer pedal that follows both the pitch and dynamics of your playing. The synthesizer sounds created by the Resotron can be radically altered by switching between the LPF, BPF and HPF modes. This allows users to access waveforms that range from subtle voice emulations to bombastic, aggressive lead sounds, as well as ultra-smooth sub bass tones.

Before the pedal's input signal hits the Resotron's filter, it passes through an optical compression stage derived from the Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone pedal. The increased volume and punch from this compressor can then be mixed into the audio signal using the BLEND control - without affecting the SENSITIVITY of the envelope. Resotron accepts active CV and passive TRS expression pedal inputs for foot-controlled filter sweeps and outboard modulation, which is mixed in parallel with the on-board pitch-following and amplitude tracking systems.

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

Pigtronix Ringmaster is a ring modulator synth designed to create analog harmonizer and tremolo effects that can be made to follow the notes you play. Expanding on the "Intelligent Ring Mod" found in the original Mothership pedal, Ringmaster adds LFO and Sample + Hold modulation sources, pitch following tremolo and well as wave shaping for both inputs to the analog multiplier circuit at the heart of this uniquely musical ring modulator.

The effect known as ring modulation is created by merging the audio signal from your instrument with an internally generated waveform called the carrier signal. A ring modulator multiplies the notes you play by the value of the carrier signal - and outputs the sum and difference of the frequencies present in each waveform. In the Ringmaster, Pigtronix real-time pitch-tracking technology is used to make the carrier signal follow the notes you play, to produce musical harmonizer effects unlike any other pedal. The Follow function in the Ringmaster can also be switched off to achieve a comprehensive range of atonal, metallic and bell-like tones found in vintage ring modulators.

Ringmaster opens the door to a wide array of unique synthesizer tones by allowing the musician to modify both the input signal and the carrier signal, before they are multiplied together. The Source control blends between clean instrument signal and a pitch-following square wave feeding the multiplier, to increase harmonic content. The Gain control pushes the carrier signal into saturation - producing aggressive, non-linear slewing effects and brass sounds. Further warping and manipulation of the carrier signal is achieved with independent, on-board LFO and Sample + Hold function generators. These dual modulation sources can be used to add several layers of motion to the Ringmaster's unique selection of harmony, ring-mod and tremolo effects.

In addition to tonal harmonizer and atonal ring modulator sounds, the Ringmaster features a Trem function, which divides the rate of the carrier oscillator down into the LFO range to create tremolo. When combined with the Follow function, the tremolo will speed up as the pitch of the input signal goes up, tracking the notes you play and automatically adjusting the rate of the tremolo instantly. This function works extremely well with monophonic (one note at a time) playing but can also produce dramatic and unconventional amplitude modulation effects when chords are played, essentially confusing the pitch-tracking circuit, which will jump to whatever note is loudest at any given moment.

The control voltage coming from the pitch-tracking system, as well as the CV signals coming from the LFO and Sample + Hold function generators can be used to modulate outboard gear via the Ringmaster's CV output jack. This 14" CV output can be used as an expression controller for other pedals such as the Pigtronix Mothership 2 pedal, or any synthesizer that allows for external CV control. The Ringmaster also allows for an external carrier to be injected into the multiplier, enabling cross-modulation of multiple instruments within a single pedal. Ringmaster is an ideal companion to the Mothership 2, delivering new modulation effects for guitar, bass, and anyone brave enough to plug in to the analog future of Pigtronix!

Analogue guitar overdrive with unique synthy edge
Notes: This pedal is the new mini version of the Air Traffic Controller - but with a switchable filter. The overdrive circuit (not switchable) is from the - now discontinued - El Distorto, so this is actually a two-in-one pedal. With the filter on and some white noise blended in it gives a 'moogy-soloing' hi-resonance funk sound, or a stinging and intense lead tone. Filter off gives our tweaked mid-rangey optimum fuzz (as loved by Billy Gibbons).

White noise hiss is a feature often ignored in 'synth' pedals, but it can add a great texture to the tone. Here it's blendable; have none at all, just a clear zing - or crank it up towards electro percussion...

There's also volume and drive controls, a 'hi/lo' resonance button, and an 'incoming' signal indicator. It's powered by standard 9v PSU (centre earth) - not included.

This is actually the most flexible pedal from Rainger FX, covering guitar sounds that range from chunky and straightforward, or with a more electro edge, through to noise-based percussion guitar.

Compact, full range fuzz/bleep effects pedal
Notes: The Bleep is the most fun, most out-there pedal in the Rainger FX line! It's a compilation of various sounds from the range of Dwarf pedals recently discontinued, but in a more usable format. Using the same full-on fuzz circuit from the Dr Freakenstein Fuzz pedal, it has more low-end, the LFO speed is adjustable on-the-fly, and the chip-destabilising 'bleep' facility is now accessible via a front panel knob.

The 'overtone' is controlled by knob, LFO, or Igor controller. With Igor plugged in, the Bleep is highly controllable while you're actually playing - no huge-and-heavy expression pedal needed. The dual-sensitivity pressure pad in effect adjusts the 'Overtone' knob, or the LFO speed. The built-in noise gate is always in operation, ensuring the pedal is totally silent when there's no signal; that means zero background hiss - at whatever volume you're playing at.

The green-on-green LED display changes with every new phrase you play - or every bleep, graphically showing what's going on in a truly mesmerising fashion.

This pedal covers a wide palette of sounds, from hard chunks of uncompromising fuzz, to edgy lead tones that are guaranteed to cut through a mix. The sustain can morph into robot alarm sounds, the signal degrading into rhythmical proto-synthy pulses, their pitch actually playable in real time. With the LFO on, the 'overtone' is automatically modulated to produce a slowly scything tonal movement - like an extreme phaser, and with the 'Bleep/Fuzz' knob and Igor pressed the speed ramps up, moving into psychotic chirping like some fiendish arcade game...

Igor is a pressure sensitive control pad - a small expression pedal 55mm wide with no moving parts. It's dual sensitivity; use it shiny side up on a hard stage or standing up, and rubber side up in you're sitting down or barefoot. Or use it by hand. If you've had enough of lugging around treadle-operated expression pedals, this will be a breath of fresh air!

Sidechainer effects pedal with Igor & kick drum mic
Notes: This is a sidechainer pedal, an effect that ducks your guitar signal each time it gets a trigger - capable of putting deep spaces into your sound! It's an effect that's heard on many recordings, often subtly - like when a rock rhythm guitar is sidechained with the kick drum, so every time the kick drum hits, the guitar volume dips slightly for that instant - giving a really powerful overall effect... The guitar sounds pumping, or spring-loaded! Or it's sometimes used strongly, to make the signal completely disappear with each kick drum, as in big 4-on-the-floor club tunes.

Whatever way you use it, this effect has NEVER been so easily available - and controllable - as with the Deep Space Pulsar! (Up to now, it's always been an effect that's added in post-production - hardly ever live).

It comes with a microphone; put it inside your drummer's kick drum, plug it into the top end panel of the pedal and you're ready to go! The pedal sits there waiting for the drummer to play....

The 'Dip' knob adjusts the amount of dip to the signal, 'Rel' controls the speed of the release; how quickly the sound rises back up, and 'Vol' is the volume - the pedal can go quite loud, more than compensating for any loss in overall level due to all the ducking. The LED display gives a visual indication of the amount and length of ducking.

TAP TEMPO:

However, when instead you plug in the Igor pressure pad controller, the Deep Space Pulsar has tap tempo - a fully correctable facility - enabling it to work if you're playing along to a DJ or drum machine. Two presses of the Igor programs a tempo (the 'record' LED coming on to show that the tempo is being recorded and it's waiting for the second press), and at any point that tempo can be adjusted to bring it back into sync with the music, enabling the pulsing to stay in time for long periods. Pressing on the Igor erases the tempo, for you to start again at a different tempo.

PUSH-BUTTON SWITCHES:

There's a 'Pad' button to alter the sensitivity of the microphone, and also an 'Inv' button to invert the whole effect; no sound is heard until the kick drum (or tap tempo) hits, when a pulse of signal is let through - introducing whole new kinds of sounds!

This is a revolutionary effect, designed specifically for those that play with other people - whether in bands, clubs or studios.

Digital reverb custom mini-pedal with up to 6 seconds of reverberation time
Notes: This is a digital reverb mini-pedal, simple to use, but giving a whole selection of unique - and very useful - new sounds. It's based around an FV-1 chip, and comes with an Igor expression pad for real-time control. 'Size' adjusts the length of the effect, and 'Level' the amount of it you hear (the original guitar signal is always present).

Distortion:

The Reverb-X really comes into its own in how it can deal with the reverb. It's based on the excitement of plugging an overdrive pedal after a reverb pedal; it's 'wrong', but everything you play sounds huge and epic, exaggerated and full of texture and detail... Here, an overdrive circuit - after the reverb - can be blended in via the 'Distn' knob. Have it totally clean, a bit gritty, quite rough, or dial in a fully burnt-out glow.

At all times, however, the input signal is unaffected; if you already use an overdrive pedal, the Reverb-X can add a whole new dimension of distortion to your sound! If your tone is clean however, it stays clean - no matter how much distorted reverb you dial in.

Usually though, in this situation when you stop playing, the hum from your cable alone would be as loud as the notes you were playing! So you have to have a noise gate involved...

Noise Gate:

This is always on, either before the reverb and distortion circuits, unobtrusively silencing hums and buzzes when you're not playing. Switch in the 'Gate' button though, and this changes to post reverb and distortion. It opens when you play, and closes hard when you stop, totally cutting off any reverb that's happening - giving an incredibly dramatic and original effect. Sure, it's a gated reverb, but play a long riff and gate stays open, giving the full reverberation as set by the 'Size' knob. Stop playing and the whole thing is shut down, giving a tight control over it - like a hard-edited 'sample'.

The 'input' control and 'Overload' LED insure that the output is always as loud - and clean (if desired) - as possible. The 'Out' knob has plenty of spare output volume on tap.

Igor:

Plug in the Igor expression pad and you get no reverb at all. However as you start to lean on it the signal gets diverted to the waiting reverb pathway, and a bloom of reverberation grows behind whatever notes you're playing. Take your foot off Igor and you go back to fully dry - but the reverb decays on its own.

Or have the 'Gate' switch in, and the added reverb is cut short, like some twisted dub-meister at the controls, messing with everyone's depth perception...

The two types of reverb available are set to cover the widest range of musical situations as possible. The Reverb-X is an incredibly flexible, easy-to-use, and inspiring effect - all in a deeply cute package!

Silicon diode-based distortion pedal for fuzz & offset fuzz sounds
Notes: This is a silicon diode-based distortion pedal, housed in an asymmetric metal enclosure custom-designed by Rainger FX. It's a full, tonally balanced distortion sound with a specific mid frequency-adjusted accent, and going to more all-out fuzz on high settings. The main panel knobs are 'drive' and 'volume'.

On the back panel is a switch that de-stabilises an offset in the circuit - adding a new level of harmonic-sensitive 'unstable' fuzz tones. The pedal is hard-wired for true bypass footswitching.

There are no sockets on the sides - which would take up too much space, so the input and output are on antennae, out of the way on the top panel. These are Neutrik sockets which securely lock the jack-plug in place, stopping any accidental unplugging during use.

In between them is the 'DC' in socket, though the El Distorto also can run on an internal 9v battery. The 'angry eyebrows' LEDs indicate 'On/Off'.

Small, light expression pedal for easy, real-time control of effects pedal parameters
Notes: We all like to have some real-time control of effects when possible, so up to now we've been resigned to carrying round big rocker 'wah wah' style expression pedals.

Igor is a pressure sensitive controller pad, 55mm in diameter, no moving parts and very light (35 times lighter than a standard cast metal treadle-type pedal!). It has dual sensitivity; use it shiny side up on a hard stage, or with shoes, standing - or rubber side up if you're barefoot or sitting down. Or use it by hand. The Igor Mk2 is more expression-y than the previous version (more controllable variation), and more durable.

It's called 'Igor' because it first came into being as the assistant to the Rainger FX Dr Freakenstein Fuzz. It has a maximum resistance of 100k, and comes with a stereo 1/4" jackplug (variable resistance between tip and ring, sleeve unconnected). It's 64cm long.

Most expression pedals vary from make to make - either the maximum resistance, or how they're wired. Igor is designed to work with the following brands;

Electro Harmonix, Catalinbread, Death By Audio, Fairfield Circuitry, Crazy Tube Circuits, Red Panda, Line 6 (known brands so far...)

It's a simple solution to effects control on-the-fly!

Unique monophonic tracking device
Notes: Don't let the name fool you. There is nothing tiny about the sound of this device. THE MINI-ARK is in a class of its own in the world of guitar synths and tracking boxes.

THE MINI-ARK is the little brother to the one-of-a-kind AUDIO ARK, SNAZZY FX's super processor. It has the capability to take your guitar input, track it precisely, add an octave of your choice below or above, an interval of your choosing above (or below) and the capability to mix the two in any combination with the original signal or a dirty version of the original signal. This is huge. You can now create chords or thickened notes in thousands of combinations, all by changing the mix knobs and the position of the Interval and Octave selectors.

But that's just the beginning. In addition to the Octave and Interval sections, there is also an Infinite Hold section which allows you to stomp on a second switch and let the note go on and on and on and on.

While the sound is droning, there is an additional octave down effect that you can play on top of the continuous sound. Think of it this way - you could be playing a lead, the lead could be mimicked a 3rd above, and 3 octaves below, and then get mixed with a distorted version of the same guitar. Then, you could step on the infinite switch, and start playing the distorted guitar and an octave below on top of the already holding 3rd above and 2 octaves below. Its really something you have to hear in action.

There is also a Gate/Sustain switch. This allows you to have notes blend continuously into each other as you play or create very artificial staccato effects.

But Wait....That is only half of the action. There is also the Magic Selector. This rotary switch allows you to switch from 8 different presets which come with THE MINIARK. Preset one is the normal mode, where your guitar creates an interval and an octave. But, choose any of the other seven modes and the operation of this device is sent into alien territory with Swells, Crazy Vibrato, Super Fuzz, or even clarinet like sounds, all flying out of the machine.

There is a rich array of CV Outputs. You get an Env Out which is useful for controlling an external device. You can, for example, plug this into the SNAZZY FX TRACER CITY. There is a gate out, for controlling an external synth, sequencer, or Modular Sythesizer, and the special Square Out. Please see the manual for the amazing things this output can do.

THE MINI-ARK features +/- 15 volt rails, similar to the rails found in analog synthesizers, powered by a standard barrel connector 9 volt DC adapter. This means greater headroom which translates into better tone. And like all SNAZZY FX products, it features True Bypass and a Seriously Heavy Duty Box with SNAZZY Graphics that will not only stand the test of time, it will turn heads wherever you take them.
