A Sides: A Cosmology Of Audio Editions By Artists Around The Arc Lémanique Region by Laurent Schmid & Roxane Bovet
Cat: 784385 Rel: 07 Sep 20

An insight into the conditions and motivations that give rise to the creation of sound recordings as an art form.
Notes: Art & vinyl: an analytic anthology of artist's records in Switzerland.

Since the beginning of its existence, the record has always been used by visual artists as a form of distribution for their sound practice. First experimented with by the early avant-garde movements, the role of these sound supports was later redefined in the context of the proliferation and hybridization of forms between sound and language.
While recording media such as discs or cassettes were used to document happenings, readings, and Fluxus concerts, these media also became a medium in their own right, used by artists to transmit their experiments.

Moreover, the current economic and technological context generated a keen interest in editorial and multiple art practices.

A-sides brings into focus on a network of actors linked to the scene of the Lake Geneva region—on the history of artistic encounters and exchanges generating sound productions. The produced works, as well as the methods of exploration of this international network, formed the basis of this anthology of artists' sound publications.

A-sides gives an insight into the conditions and motivations that give rise to the creation of sound recordings as an art form and explores the ambiguity of the relationship between the current technological context, which is moving towards dematerialization, and the persistence of sound practices distributed on tangible recording media.

A Soft Hiss Of This World (by Tim Ingold, Carmen Pardo & Mikel R Nieto)
Cat: 765375 Rel: 11 Jun 20

paperback book
Notes: The research project "A soft hiss of this world" is focused on the loss in many aspects such as the loss of language as a result of the Anthropocene through the absence of certain states and processes that occur naturally in the environment like different states of water, snow and ice. In Finnish there are more than forty terms* to refer to them and because of the loss of these states in the landscape, the loss is also displaced to the language, in this case, the Finnish.

This research project took these words as a starting point to make hundreds of hours of recordings in the Finnish landscape. The sound of snow, ice and snowflakes are the reference and the sound material of this research project. And to obtain these sounds, as well as the possible sound differences between each snowflake, special and specific microphones were developed for this very specific and fragile recording process.
This book contains texts by three authors: Tim Ingold, Carmen Pardo and Mikel R. Nieto, on the research carried out by Nieto in Finland during 2016. The text by Tim Ingold opens the book and introduces the reader to the main subjects of the research: language, landscape, sound and listening. This text is easy to read and aims to immerse us in the Finnish landscape and in the listening act to its sounds and silences. Carmen Pardo's text unfolds first, the way in which the gaze and listening of the snow constitute the experience of a disappearance, of a concentration in the void or nothingness of which A Soft Hiss of this World participates.

The third text belongs to Mikel R. Nieto and is divided into four parts. The third part is a code that reflects the loss of most of the sound recordings made during his research with more than 600 hours of recordings. This code is the only thing that could be recovered from all recordings, except the only sound recording published in physical format as a transparent Flexi-disc.

The fourth part is the result of silencing each and every word by John Cage in his "Lecture on Nothing," leaving only the punctuation marks, such as commas, periods, separators and the last sentence of the text of Cage. Every time the transparent flexi-disc is played, the player needle wears away the vinyl and making the sound of the recording disappear. Therefore, each listening destroys the sound."

Autumn's Sun by Loren Connors
Autumn's Sun by Loren Connors (82 page paperback book)
Cat: 789524 Rel: 07 Sep 20

The definitive edition of Loren Connors' texts.
Notes: In the mid-80s, Connors took a partial break from music and focused instead on the art of haiku, for which he received the Lafcadio Hearn Award in 1987. With his wife Suzanne Langille he also co-wrote an article on blues and haiku, "The Dancing Ear," published in the Haiku Society of America's journal. It was during this period that Connors penned the material that appears in Autumn's Sun, a chapbook first published by Thurston Moore and Byron Coley's Glass Eye in 1999. The text features diary excerpts from 1987, lyrically fragmented observations interspersed with haiku-like poems that paint an idyllic impression of the passing seasons in his home of New Haven, Connecticut. With synesthetic perception, Connors gazes from tranquil domestic streets. Sycamore, elm, and catalpa trees are activated by the breeze and made to rustle in unison with their natural and artificial surroundings, including the howling dogs from which Connors derived his "Mazzacane" moniker. As summer fades to winter, Connors portrays death as an undramatic certitude, the flux of his own maturation reflected in musings on his son's. Like his music, Autumn's Sun is tender without being sentimental, conjuring those rare, delicate moments when time stands still.

This edition includes "The Dancing Ear" and an introduction by Lawrence Kumpf.

But when Mario "Liv It Up" Luna dug up a long-forgotten cache of material, and from that we bring you Beyond Heaven: Volume II. It has the same format as Volume I, but with all new flyers documenting an extended window of history, from early "mobile discos" that reflect roots of the underground movement before the term "house" was even coined, to the emergence of a new generation of house DJs and artists in Chicago inspired by the pioneers of the genre. As with the original, this book reflects a mix of figures and parallel movements that were entangled with the world of house. Cat: 760273 Rel: 20 Dec 19

Revised & expanded 384-page paperback book on the history of grindcore and death metal - with introduction by John Peel
Notes: In 1986, the idea that death metal and grindcore would ever impact popular culture was unimaginable. Initially circulated through a scattered tape-trading network of underground thrillseekers, bands rose from every corner of the globe and death metal and grindcore spread faster than a pandemic plague of undead flesheaters. By 1994, the genre's most prominent labels had sold millions of albums. Choosing Death examines the rise, fall, and resurrection through the eyes and ringing ears of the artists and entrepreneurs behind the movement. Features forewards by JOHN PEEL and SCOTT CARLSON (Repulsion). 384-page heavily-illustrated dexluxe softcover books with 16-page colour section.

Cuba: Music & Revolution: Original Album Cover Art of Cuban Music: Record Sleeve Designs Of Revolutionary Cuba 1959-90, compiled by Gilles Peterson & Stuart Baker
Notes: 'Cuba: Music and Revolution: Original Album Cover Art of Cuban Music: Record Sleeve Designs of Revolutionary Cuba 1959-90 ' is a stunning new deluxe 250-page large format hardback book compiled and edited by Gilles Peterson and Stuart Baker (Soul Jazz Records) that features many 100s of stunning and unique Cuban record sleeve designs made since the Cuban Revolution led by Fidel Castro in 1959. These album covers have rarely been seen (nor heard) outside of Cuba and show a rich previously hidden history of both music and design.

'Cuba: Music and Revolution' is the first ever book about Cuban record sleeve design and has been five years in the making, made in full co-operation with the Cuban government. The record sleeve designs reflect both the rich cultural Latin musical legacy of Cuba, as well as the political and aesthetic influence of revolutionary Communism, which manifests itself both in the music created on the island and the artwork of the designs included here.

Cuban music is the source of much Latin music in the 20th century. Salsa, the all-encompassing Latin music that came out of New York in the 1970s, and soon spread across Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and elsewhere, owes all of its success to the Cuban music on which it is fundamentally based.

These record sleeves help document the dramatic change in Cuba's identity from that of 1950s tourist paradise to socialist state. Following the Cuban Revolution in 1959, the United States imposed a trade embargo which exists to this day, and as a consequence the many 100s of Cuban records featured here have rarely been seen outside of Cuba.

The book is edited and compiled by Gilles Peterson, BBC broadcaster, record label owner, DJ, record collector, founder of Worldwide FM and Stuart Baker, founder of Soul Jazz Records. Together they have edited two earlier critically-acclaimed music and design books 'Freedom, Rhythm and Sound - Revolutionary Jazz Cover Art 1965-83' and 'Bossa Nova and The Rise of Brazilian Music in the 1960s'.

In conjunction with the deluxe book, Soul Jazz Records will be releasing an album also compiled by Gilles Peterson and Stuart Baker, charting the rise of Cuban music in the 1970s and featuring many of the artists who appear in this book.

En Algun Lado Y En Ninguno: Poemas by Sun Ra
Cat: 784388 Rel: 24 Jul 20

A compilation of poems by the jazz musician and poet Sun Ra, in a bilingual edition (English/Spanish)
Notes: A collection of poems by Sun Ra from the Alton Abraham - Sun Ra Collection at the University of Chicago, selected and translated to spanish by Mariana Castillo Deball, Tania Islas Weinstein and Alberto Ortega.

The adventure began in a library that looks like a spaceship, next to a monument in the shape of a burned marshmallow that celebrates the first atomic reaction generated by humans. A plaque in the monument suggests that the powerful energy should be used for beneficial purposes. Inside this lunar library is the Special Collections Centre at the University of Chicago, that keeps the archive of Alton Abraham - Sun Ra Collection, comprising the period 1822-2008. Alton Abraham (1927-1999), entrepreneur and hospital technician, was a friend and partner of Sun Ra, and throughout his life he collected manuscripts, ephemera, artifacts, photographs and audio-visual recordings of the work of Sun Ra and his collaborators. Within the archive, which occupies 48 m of linear shelf space (146 boxes and a large folder) we found Sun Ra's wallet, containing his lawyer's business card, the insurance receipt for his car, a cabalistic amulet, and a million dollar bill perforated in the center. We also discovered Sun Ra's typed poems, with handwritten corrections and in various versions.

His poems generate a parallel geometry, a world that is precise and ambiguous at the same time. A sidereal enthusiasm made us think that the translation of his poems into our mother tongue could bring us close to his cosmos, and simultaneously allow us to share them with the Spanish-speaking firmament.

Selection and translation by Mariana Castillo Deball, Tania Islas Weinstein and Alberto Ortega.

Glen Sweeney's Book Of Alchemies: The Life & Times Of The Third Ear Band 1967-1973 by Luca Ferrari
Cat: 787016 Rel: 20 Aug 20

The dreams, the rise, the fall; the shadowy comeback; the end; a must for every Third Ear fan.
Notes: The life and times of the Third Ear Band. 268 pages.

Giant Sun Trolley were legends in the earliest stirrings of what became the underground in London in late 1966, coming to full flower in the summer of 1967; doubly legendary because they never recorded anything. One of them, Glen Sweeney, went on to form the Third Ear Band and remained both deeply integrated into - and a spectre at the edges of - the experimental/ psychedelic/ pop explosion that followed - and whose reverberations still echo. Their first album, Alchemy, released for a dubious EMI, won them fans for life, and their soundtrack for Roman Polanski's Macbeth - recorded with Paul Buckmaster in the band - made them famous. Then it was over. They now rate a passing mention in historic accounts, but hardly anyone knows anything more about them. But it's worth knowing. Their experiences and trajectory, as unpacked and laid out here, draw back a curtain on this most febrile and complex period of British popular music history - because they weren't products of this era but amongst its creators. Their stories are not tidy. In addition, the various witnesses to this small drama have little to lose by being honest, which they mostly are. That's what makes this book important. The core - and most of its content - is first person testimony: dozens of interviews from the time, and more recently, with the main protagonists, who reveal where they came from, what they were, what they wanted, the way they understood what was happening - and what part they played in this fascinating, marginal, instructive and all too human story - before it all fell apart. Always misfits, the Third Ear were nonetheless '60s underground family and their story is worth hearing all the way to the end. Taking Sweeny as the main character also sheds light on the mindset and the ideas flying around at the beginnings of what became the Summer of Love clearly showing its roots in American Beat culture, currents in contemporary art, proto-environmentalism, utopian politics, mysticism and, of course, drugs - though little of that is directly addressed; it's just there, holding everything else up.

A must for every Third Ear fan, this volume is comprehensive, with every gig and recording and event laid out in order and considerable detail. It's also very readable - even if you know nothing and could care less about the band. The dreams, the rise, the fall; the shadowy comeback; the end; what was lost and what was gained.

And there's character, lots of character straight from the brain to the paper. You can inhale a sense of the mechanics of hope, exploitation, psychology and history here - not because that's what the book is about (it's not; it's a gathering of facts and memories) but because they animate the testimonies and career trajectories the form of the book lays bare. It's a leaf caught in the tide - with the mundane consequences.

Included with this limited edition book is a CD containing the 6 previously unreleased tracks that were intended to have been for their third album had EMI not suddenly dropped the band as the musical climate changed. The masters were then lost and were rediscovered during the making of this book, in Denim Bridge's attic.

Heavyweight Champion, by Amos Childs & Sam Barrett
Cat: 798279 Rel: 04 Nov 20

Paperback book
Notes: Mechanical Reproductions stay true to their original mission statement of being 'an outlet for editions of vinyl and print' and, for their third release, serve up a 48 page archive of some of the posters created by Young Echo's Amos Childs & Sam Barrett for the long running nights the collective have been running since 2010.

'Heavyweight Champion is the result of six years' collaborative collage works for Bristol's Young Echo collective.

The collective's 12 members have been running club nights, radio shows and releasing music since 2010. Two of them, Amos Childs & Sam Barrett (who also make music together as O$VMV$M), have been responsible for creating the posters to promote the club nights since the start.

These posters are a regular fixture in the visual landscape of the city, on walls, bins, bus stops and pretty much any other available surface in the lead up to each event. Their informal visual language immediately sets them apart from the other flyers vying for attention. They're intriguing: through not having the artist names featured as prominently as possible they encourage the viewer to take a deeper look. There's dense layers of images and cut-and-pasted phrases to be deciphered - ultimately a far more engaging experience than being shouted at by a generic and large-fonted neon specimen.

Thanks to the local council (and keen fans who would rather see them on their walls at home), more often than not these works are gone soon after they're tacked up, meaning the only archive of them is as low resolution images on various social media channels. 'Heavyweight Champion', then, aims to provide a lasting document of this unique and vital part of Bristol's musical culture...'

La Capture De L'inaudible by Matthieu Saladin
Cat: 784382 Rel: 24 Jul 20

Software Edition on SD card in a Silkscreen booklet, including a text by Jonathan Sterne
Notes: La capture de l'inaudible, conceived by Matthieu Saladin, is the edition of a software acting like a reverse MP3 encoder. Where a classical MP3 encoder removes inaudible frequencies to reduce the size of an audio file, the reverse encoder gives these frequencies to listen, removing what the mp3 format usually keeps.

The software comes on a SD card, going along a booklet with a selection of texts on the inaudible, and a text written by Jonathan Sterne.

The SD card contains also the whole Artkillart catalog, re-encoded with Matthieu Saladin's software.

Tracks created with the software can be archived online, only on user's request, and participate to the constitution of a global inaudible library.

Ian preece captures the essence of life for independent record labels operating in the twenty-first century.
Notes: If there's a cultural artefact capable of withstanding the vagaries and fickleness of the digital age as well as the printed book, it's the vinyl record...

In Listening to the Wind, Ian Preece (editor, and co-author of In The Heyday of The Football Annual) sets out on an international road trip to capture the essence of life for independent record labels operating in the twenty-first century. Despite it all - from algorithms and streaming to the death of the high street and the gutting of the music press - releasing a record to serve its 'own beautiful purpose', as 4AD's Ivo Watts Russell once said, is a flame that still burns through these pages. With countless labels, albums and artists to be discovered, this book is for those who share that inextinguishable love for music.

Features extensive, original interviews with the likes of Analog Africa, Light in the Attic, Thrill Jockey, International Anthem, Dust-to-Digital, Pressure Sounds, Heavenly, Touch, Mississippi, Sublime Frequencies and more!

Music As Seismographic Sound: Tracking Down The Idea Of Cultural Translation by Ania Mauruschat
Cat: 789519 Rel: 07 Sep 20

A proposal for a radio project on the diffusion of world music in the digital age, focusing on the concept of seismographic sound.
Notes: The publication Music as Seismographic Sound / Tracking Down the Idea of Cultural Translation is a written radio pitch by Ania Mauruschat, closely following musicians in bi- or multi-lingual cultural contexts.
Ania Mauruschat is a radio journalist who has produced several features on sound art, with the German radio station Bayerischer Rundfunk, and the Swiss national radio station SRF.

The written pitch comes in the form of an appendix of source materials, including excerpts from interviews with selected musicians.

"Music is the fastest traveling medium. As some scholars like to argue, it even might have a seismographic potential. Thus, the Swiss ethnomusicologist Thomas Burkhalter speaks of "seismographic sounds" regarding the rather new phenomenon of global digital "world music 2.0". This musical phenomenon developed predominantly in the urban centres of the "Global South"iSao Paulo, La Paz, Lagos, Cape Town, Jakarta, Beirut or Manilai, long before it drew the attention of journalists and researchers from the "Global North" in the early 2000s.

To scrutinize and better understand this situation of in-betweenness, the radio feature will focus exemplary on two very distinct and yet similar case studies of seismographic sound generating hubs: firstly, the label Outhere Records, which is based in Munich, Germany and serves as a platform especially for the young Pan-African scene of world music 2.0; and secondly, the label Aakuluk Music in Iqaluit, Nunavut, the northernmost territory of Canada, which is devoted to developing the young musical scene in the Arctic to facilitate the search for identity and independence of the Inuit musicians in their postcolonial reality of community building."

Sabotage! Black Sabbath In The Seventies (by Martin Popoff)
Cat: 776827 Rel: 11 Jun 20

paperback book
Notes: Quite simply, Martin Popoff's Sabotage! Black Sabbath in the Seventies marks the most intensive analysis of Black Sabbath's first eight albums ever attempted. This is a big book-129,000 words long, every song analysed in detail, loads of first-hand interview footage from close to 50 interrogations. In the baking, Popoff interviewed all of the principles-Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward-repeatedly, along with myriad other folks who are part of this remarkable tale. Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy... these are the building blocks of heavy metal, and within these awesome audio chapters, Popoff breaks down each and every song on each of these reverberating and cannonating records, while Geezer offers explanation of the lyrics, Bill poetically explains why these songs resonate and Tony and Oz look on with their characteristic sense of bemusement. Also touched upon are the band's torrid troubles with money and management and drugs and booze, as well as tour tales, album cover stories and production tips 'n' tricks. Also included are two four-page sections of colour plates. All told, it's everything needed to send the reader back to the catalogue, headphones on, for a second listen of this landmark run of records spanning 1970's self-titled debut to 1978's Never Say Die, the shambling, controversial last gasp before Ozzy's shocking ouster from the ranks.

Spectres II: Resonances
Cat: 775760 Rel: 11 May 20

196 page book with thread-sewn softcover, produced by Shelter Press in French & English
Notes: To resonate: re-sonare. To sound again with the immediate implication of a doubling. Sound and its double: sent back to us, reflected by surfaces, diffracted by edges and corners. Sound amplified, swathed in an acoustics that transforms it. Sound enhanced by its passing through a certain site, a certain milieu. Sound propagated, reaching out into the distance. But to resonate is also to vibrate with sound, in unison, in synchronous oscillation. To marry with its shape, amplifying a common destiny. To join forces with it. And then again, to resonate is to remember, to evoke the past and to bring it back. Or to plunge into the spectrum of sound, to shape it around a certain frequency, to bring out sonic or electric peaks from the becoming of signals.

Resonance embraces a multitude of different meanings.

Or rather, remaining always identical, it is actualised in a wide range of different phenomena and circumstances. Such is the multitude of resonances evoked in the pages below: a multitude of occurrences, events, sensations, and feelings that intertwine and welcome one other. Everyone may have their own history, everyone may resonate in their own way, and yet we must all, in order to experience resonance at a given moment, be ready to welcome it. The welcoming of what is other, whether an abstract outside or on the contrary an incarnate otherness ready to resonate in turn, is a condition of resonance. This idea of the welcome is found throughout the texts that follow, opening up the human dimension of resonance, a dimension essential to all creativity and to any exchange, any community of mind. Which means that resonance here is also understood as being, already, an act of paying attention, i.e. a listening, an exchange.

Addressing one or other of the forms that this idea of resonating can take on (extending, evoking, reverberating, revealing, transmitting), each of the contributions brought together in this volume reveals to us a personal aspect, a fragment of the enthralling territory of sonic and musical experimentation, a territory upon which resonance may unfold. The book has been designed as a prism and as a manual. May it in turn find a unique and profound resonance in each and every reader.

Ultrablack of Music speculates on the manifold ways in which the objective, inhuman soundworlds, which roar underneath humans' sensological apparatus, pervade and smoothly colonize our humanoid-alien, affective and cognitive capacitiesiand how to construct ways out of the mess of the Master Rhythms of Sonic Thanaticist Capital and its stratagems of annihilation and pulpification.

Speculative rhythm productions drive the mathematical ope-rationality and its decisional self-amputations to the edge and create the missing corporeality that rewires our affective capacities and inhibitions by un-mooring, alienating/de-realizing our relations to the killing abstractions (reductive Binarism, identitism/autism), the techgnostical mindset and its mystifications.

Ultrablackened music confronts and pushes us also into the experimentation with this nameless in-between, in which new temporalities can emerge whose winding paths and outcomes can neither be predicted nor guaranteed.
Its cruel love vigorously informed and fueled by the hate in ending this world, as we know and sonically experience it.

Untold: A Tellurian Memorandum
Untold: A Tellurian Memorandum (hardback book + MP3 download code)
Cat: 786628 Rel: 09 Oct 20

Softcover book
Notes: 'Untold' is an experimental electronic LP from multi-disciplinary artist and author Sophia Loizou. Depicting a series of speculative sonic landscapes; animals, ocean waves and weather systems are abstracted into eco-centric cyber-dreams creating powerful ambient compositions that invite us to see the Earth through the eyes of others.
Untold is not about the natural or the technological but the relationships between the two; sonic textures, breaks and melodies are shaped by the dynamics of a lion's roar or the rhythm of a dolphin's echolocation emissions."I didn't want to make it human-centric," explains Sophia."I wanted to remove my compositional and structural domination, to find ways to make it about the symbiosis of systems I see in the world."

Untold is part of a much bigger multi-disciplinary project that also includes a collection of poems with accompanying audio, artworks, an AV show and a lecture performance.

Multidisciplinary artist and doctoral researcher Sophia Loizou's debut poetic collection 'Untold: A Tellurian Memorandum' imagines a series of speculative sentient landscapes. The six works envision different aspects of entangled Earthly relationships; from the aqueous roots of biotic life and non-human systems of perpetual growth, to biologically enhanced futures where multiple forms of life collide, connect and share their material qualities. "I wanted to portray an open and empathic multiform future,' explains Sophia. 'a world that celebrates the vibrant, messy and multifaceted beauty of non-human forces and forms."

The book is accompanied by a 30-minute speculative sonic landscape in which sounds from living systems, field recordings from human, animal and technological origins meet - producing wild and unpredictable results.

'A Tellurian Memorandum' is part of a much bigger multi-disciplinary project that also includes the LP 'Untold', artworks, an AV show and a lecture performance.

Re-issue of John Dwyer's book of photographs
Notes: Presented for the public's perusal, a coffee table collection of film photos from 2009-2013 by Oh Sees frontman, Castle Face co-conspirator, and all around restless artistic presence John Dwyer. Dwyer seemed to always be pulling out a camera around then and these flicks function as a technicolour joyride through his universe in San Francisco and beyond, with his jackal's smirk from behind the lens all but palpable in these pages. Tour snaps, blackmail fodder, candid camaraderie, and the ringing echo of maniacal laughter await one within. Originally printed in a limited quantity by San Francisco clothing shop and live music incubator Vacation, Castle Face has dusted it off for a wider release for those that never got the chance.

We Got Power: Hardcore Punk Scenes From 1980s Southern California (by David Markey & Jordan Schwartz)
Cat: 760270 Rel: 20 Dec 19

Deluxe 304-page large-format landscape hardcover book
Notes: As teenagers in 1981, DAVID MARKEY and his best friend JORDAN SCHWARTZ founded We Got Power, a fanzine dedicated to the first-generation hardcore punk music community in their native Los Angeles. Their text and cameras captured the early punk spirit of Black Flag, the Minutemen, Social Distortion, Red Cross/Redd Kross, Suicidal Tendencies, the Descendents, White Flag, the Last, the Gun Club, Saccharine Trust, Sin 34, Nip Drivers, Circle One, M.D.C., Big Boys, Youth Brigade, D.R.I., the Butthole Surfers, Firehose, and many others at the height of their precocious punk powers. In the process, the duo's amazing photographs also captured the dilapidated suburbs, abandoned storefronts, and dereliction of the early Reagan eraia rubble-strewn social apocalypse that demanded a youth uprising!

Never before seen except in crude fanzine form, these detailed and richly narrative photos are now collected to present an intimate portrayal of a uniquely fertile creative moment. A deluxe 304-page large format hardcover book featuring essays by DAVID MARKEY, JORDON SCHWARTZ, JENNIFER SCHWARTZ, HENRY ROLLINS, KEITH MORRIS, CHUCK DUKOWSKI, DEZ CADENA, LOUICHE MAYORGA, CAMERON JAMIE, PAT FEAR, STEVE HUMANN, TONY ADOLESCENT, JACK BREWER, JULA BELL, MIKE WATT, SEAN WHEELER, JOE CARDUCCI, DANIEL "SHREDDER" WEIZMANN, and JANET HOUSDEN. Presenting nearly 400 first-generation LA hardcore punk photographs, including complete color reprints of We Got Power fanzine 1981-1983 and beyond.
