Flame uMM MIDI-TRS-B Merge/Thru MIDI Module
Flame uMM MIDI-TRS-B Merge/Thru MIDI Module (MIDI/external utility module)
Cat: 990518 Rel: 31 Mar 24

2x MIDI merge & MIDI thru plus TR A/B converter module - 4HP
Notes: The "uMM" combines a MIDI merger and two independent THRU distributors in a module that is only 4 HP wide. All sockets on the module are in MIDI TRS-B format.

At the heart of the two-input MIDI merger is a small, powerful ARM processor with plenty of buffer memory. Two MIDI streams are mixed to one output and can also be tapped via an additional second output. Two LEDs signal the operation of the merger: one LED indicates MIDI activity at the inputs, and a second LED warns of too much data at the inputs.

The second group of functions consists of two independent, separate MIDI THRU distributors. The MIDI data at the respective MIDI input can be picked up and distributed at the three THRU outputs. If required, a 1-to-5 distributor can be created from the two units by connecting an output of the left group to the input of the right group.

Features:

4x MIDI IN (TRS-B)
2x MIDI-OUT (TRS-B)
6x MIDI-THRU (TRS-B)
Powered via Doepfer connector

Mooer Audio Loopation Vocal & Instrument Looper Effects Pedal
Cat: 992164 Rel: 30 Apr 24

Vocal & instrument looper effects pedal
Notes: MOOER has been impressing musicians with its unique effect pedals for over a decade, and the new MVP3 Loopation is set to continue this trend. It's a versatile and feature-packed pedal designed to enable musicians to create seamless loops with their voice and instruments and is part of MOOER's recent VP series which provides versatile support for microphone input.

Loopation provides 11 save slots for recorded audio loops, with 8 of these slots featuring 5 minutes of recording time, and the other three having 10 minutes. Slots can be selected with the simple 'song' dial, and once audio has been recorded, the files will automatically save onto the device. The pedal offers two recording modes: real-time, and auto.

Recording in real-time mode is activated when the right footswitch is pressed, in the same style as traditional loop pedals. In contrast, the auto mode enters standby when the right footswitch is pressed and begins recording once signal is detected, stopping recording with another press.

However, the looping functions don't stop there. Pressing the right footswitch commences file playback, and during playback, another right footswitch press will enable dub mode, which will continue until the footswitch is pressed once again. Playback can be halted with two quick presses of the right footswitch, or alternatively by switching to a different save slot.

When playback is stopped, users can delete all recorded layers by holding the right footswitch for 1 second, or by holding the second 'stop' footswitch press. Finally, users can undo their dubs by holding the left footswitch whilst an overdub is playing and can complete this motion again to restore this deleted layer. If the musician wishes to reverse the audio file, this can be achieved through a single left footswitch press.

Loopation provides both XLR and 1/4" inputs, which can be used in either 'mixed' or 'individual' mode. Users can toggle between these modes by holding the right footswitch while plugging in the power supply. In mixed mode, both inputs will be active, which can be balanced using the 'mix' dial, whereas, in individual mode, the input signals will be isolated to their respective outputs. The master dial allows users to adjust the overall volume of both outputs.

Amazingly, Loopation augments these features further with built-in reverb and tonal effects. By holding the 'tone' button whilst rotating the 'master' dial, the reverb volume can be adjusted. The tone button can also be used independently to switch between the pedal's three tone modes: flat, warm, and bright.

Finally, Loopation offers a gain adjustment knob, a 48V phantom power switch tailored for internal microphone amplification, a grounding switch, a line-in switch, and a DC 9V 500mA power input. When combined with the impressive looping features of the pedal, musicians are left with a complete toolkit for full compositional processes, whether this is in the studio, at home, or during a live performance.

Blue Lantern Modules Hats Analogue High Hats Module
Cat: 980377

Analogue hi-hats module - 8HP
Notes: This is a self contained analogue high hat module. This is a Transistor based VCA design. It is influenced by the DR110 drum machine. The original circuit used 4 oscillators to make the metallic audio sound. I added the original 4 oscillator, and an extra 6 oscillator circuit. The 6 oscillator version is doing a double XOR ringmod (internally). You select that by switch.

The 4 oscillator design sounds more crunchy, where as the 6 XOR circuit sounds more polished with sheen. You can blend in the amount of white noise in the mix labeled 'sizzle'.

Internally, the audio is passing through a few high pass filters, making the output sound very high in frequencies.

The module by itself is not exciting. But in the mix, with other percussion modules, this is your favorite-go-to module. It sits almost perfect in the mix.

There are two triggers. One is for 'Open' sound. The other is for 'close' sound. Both open and close have there own decay knob to adjust the length of the audio tail.

There is a tone control, labeled LPF. Use this to taper off some of the high frequencies.

Instead of adding an 'accent' control. Both triggers have been made to voltage variable. 5V triggering is the normal expected input. So a 3V trigger will sound softer in volume. 10V trigger signals will sound louder.

This module is as simple as it gets, just patch your Arturia Beat Step Pro and use the drum track.

Features

-Both trigger inputs are voltage variable. You can get softer audio, with softer trigger voltage.
-2 voice metallic noise generator
-2 decays (open and close)
-2 Flavors select by switch.
-Normal mode, and Sustain mode, selected by switch.
-frequency adjustment of the internal XOR ringmod.
-classic roland sounding transistor based VCA.

Why get this module over the Shimm module, or other high hats modules?

-Ease of use, ready to go. No sound exploring needed.
-Want the classic transistor based, crunchy sound.
-lower budget
-Sits very well in the drum mix.

Mooer Audio Tender Octaver X2 Octave Shifter Effects Pedal
Cat: 995935 Rel: 30 Apr 24

Octave shifter effects pedal
Notes: MOOER, one of the world's leading guitar pedal innovators, has never been a stranger to octave pedals. The company has already enjoyed a successful response to its "Pure" and "Purer" Octave pedals, but the company's latest offering, the Tender Octaver X2, aims to take guitar octave capabilities to the next level.

Unlike the Pure and Purer Octave pedals which focus on pitch-shifting by the semitone, the Tender Octaver X2 is designed with a more specialized intention, focussing solely on octave shifts. When using the pedal, users can choose between two different octave shift modes, facilitating the addition of both subjacent and upper frequencies to a guitar signal. Both options have two dedicated rotatable dials, one for determining the volume of the added octave, and one for fine-tuning its tonal colour.

Both of these octave effects can be used independently and can be toggled on or off with their own easy-access footswitches, each paired with its own LED light to indicate its current activation status. Furthermore, both effects can also be used simultaneously, empowering guitarists to experiment with unique tri-octave guitar presets.

However, these subjacent and upper octave effects need not be explicit if the guitarist using the Tender Octaver X2 is looking for a more subtle octave manipulation. Thanks to the octave volume dials and the "Direct" dial for dry signal volume adjustment, anything from an explicit pitch shift to a subtle octave underlay can be achieved within the same pedal.

The pedal also contains 14 preset slots, allowing users to experiment and save their favourite parameter combinations with the "Save" button. In classic MOOER fashion, this has been presented in a minimalistic fashion, with 7 LED lights representing the full range of 14 save slots, lighting up blue or red depending on which half of the slots are being browsed. Each slot can be saved into or browsed through the two "Sub" and "Upper" footswitches, providing a further example of MOOER's dedication to making the most out of a minimalistic interface.

Using the pedal will be as simple as plugging it into the included DC 9V power supply, and plugging in a guitar with a standard 1/4" guitar cable. Overall, the Tender Octave X2 is set to be an exciting new addition to MOOER's octave pedal catalogue, and if paired with the "Pure" or "Purer" Octave products, just about any pitch-shift combination is made possible for guitarists of any style or experience level.

Features:
Precise octave-shifting DSP algorithm
Two octave effect options - subjacent and upper
Two effect volume dials, one for each octave
A 'Direct' dial for adjusting the dry signal volume
14 unique user preset slots
A dual-function 'Save' button for presets
7 dual-color preset LEDs, with red representing one half of presets, and blue representing the other half
Two additional LEDs, indicating the activation status of both octave effects
Two footswitches that function both independently and simultaneously for effect toggling and preset browsing
1/4" mono input and output
DC 9V power supply
Minimalistic and compact casing design

Mooer Audio Harmony X2 Harmonic Shifter Effects Pedal
Cat: 995938 Rel: 30 Apr 24

Harmonic shifter effects pedal
Notes: Ever since MOOER launched onto the guitar pedal scene in 2010, it has been producing pedals that have consistently pushed the boundaries of audio effect processing. 2023 has seen many impressive new entries, but the new Harmony X2 is set to sit at the top of Christmas lists this year. This device is a highly specialized and versatile harmonic shifting pedal, complete with every harmonic capability a guitarist could need for live performance and recording.

First and foremost, users of the Harmony X2 can select between the 12 pitches of the chromatic scale to customize their harmonies, with each pitch facilitating both major and minor scales. Once a root note has been chosen, a further 11 harmony modes enable further customization of harmonic intervals, including classics such as thirds, fifths, sevenths, and octaves.

Interestingly, the Harmony X2 is designed to specifically facilitate independent stereo harmonies. This means that guitarists can choose separate harmonic intervals for the left and right output, both of which can also have their volume adjusted independently by their dedicated dials. This allows the pedal to stand out from other harmonic pedals, facilitating harmonically rich tones that make optimum use of the stereo field.

After experimenting with these versatile parameters, guitarists can finely tune the intensity of the effect with the 'Dry' dial, determining the level of unprocessed guitar signal in the overall mix. Once satisfied, users can then save their favourite harmonic combinations with the 'Save' button, enabling them to return to their favourite preset at any time.

Despite the advanced nature of the Harmony X2 pedal, its use has been designed to be very simple. A dual foot-switch setup is provided to seamlessly toggle harmonic effects independently for both left and right pannings, and a simple and sleek combination of dials and LED indicators help the user clearly visualize their harmonic effects.

The Harmony X2 supports standard 1/4" inputs and outputs, with both containing two ports to facilitate both mono and stereo usage. However, these can interestingly be used in 'mixed' or 'individual' mode, enabling outputs that either correlate or merge the stereo inputs. The pedal is powered by the included DC 9V power supply, ensuring that guitarists never are never limited by the frustrating process of swapping out batteries during a performance or recording session.

Features:
High-quality pitch processing module
12 pitch options with 11 harmonic modes
Two dials for isolated left and right harmonic customization
Two dials for left and right harmony volumes
Dedicated dial for adjusting the level of dry signal
Support for both major and minor scales
LED indicator for harmony mode
Two LED indicators for major or minor mode
Multi-purpose 'Save' button
Dual-footswitch setup for independent harmonic bypassing
Two 1/4" inputs, supporting both mono and stereo
Two 1/4" outputs that support stereo mixed or individual output modes
Powered by included 9V DC power supply

Mooer Audio Harmonier Vocal Harmony Effects Pedal
Cat: 992162 Rel: 30 Apr 24

Vocal harmony effects pedal
Notes: MOOER burst onto the music products scene in 2010 and has been impressing guitarists ever since. However, the company has expanded it's horizons this year with its VP vocal processing pedal series. The MVP2 Harmonier is a powerful example of this - it's a versatile and innovative vocal processor pedal designed to elevate both vocal and guitar performance, offering tonal precision, creativity, and convenience in one compact pedal.

At its core, the pedal offers a versatile pitch harmonizer effect. The 'Key' dial allows users to choose to harmonize their important with any note in the chromatic scale, with the 'Sharp' LED button being used to select sharp notes. Once chosen, the 'Mode' dial facilitates further customization, offering 11 different harmony modes that control the harmony's interval. This includes all classic intervals such as octaves, fifths, and thirds.

The 'Level' dial adjusts the volume of the harmonizer effect, but Harmonier offers even further tonal flexibility thanks to its reverb function. Users can press and hold the 'Sharp' button while rotating the 'Level' dial, which allows them to adjust the volume of the pedal's internal reverb module. The pedal also offers tone modes: flat, warm, and bright. These can be controlled by activating the pedal's unique 'hidden mode' and using the 'sharp' button.

'Hidden mode' is activated by pressing and holding both of the pedal's footswitches, but this is just one example of Harmonier's unique control system. The left footswitch can be held to save effect presets, and pressed to scroll through 7 preset slots. The right footswitch can be pressed to turn on the pedal's effects, pressed again to isolate the reverb, and held to turn off all effects except for the tone setting.

Unlike most of MOOER's pedal offerings, Harmonier supports both XLR and 1/4" inputs and outputs. These can be used in 'mixed mode' by holding the right footswitch whilst plugging in the power supply or repeating this action again to switch to 'individual mode', which isolates the signals to their given ports.

Alongside its fundamental functionalities, the pedal features a gain dial, a 48V phantom power switch designed for internal microphone amplification, a grounding switch, and a DC 9V 500mA power input. Collectively, the MVP2 Harmonier's features guarantee that both vocalists and guitarists have all the necessary tools to augment their instrument's sounds with stunning harmonies, without ever having to worry about the pedal's batteries running low.

Mooer Audio Autuner Vocal Autotune Effects Pedal
Mooer Audio Autuner Vocal Autotune Effects Pedal (pitch/frequency effects pedal)
Cat: 992160 Rel: 30 Apr 24

Vocal autotune effects pedal
Notes: MOOER has unveiled its latest effect pedal innovation, the MVP1 AUTUNER vocal processor. Unlike most of MOOER's products, this pedal is designed primarily for use with vocals, offering precise pitch correction and exceptional vocal enhancement features. However, MOOER hasn't forgotten about its primary audience, so AUTUNER still provides features that will interest guitarists.

Due to the pedal's primary focus on vocals, the device includes several features specifically designed for microphone usage. This includes XLR input and output, in addition to support for 48V phantom power, ensuring that the pedal supports both dynamic and condenser microphones. However, AUTUNER also includes standard 1/4" guitar inputs and outputs, along with convenient footswitch control to switch between mixed or individual signals.

The pitch correction features behind AUTUNER are highly versatile. With an LED button, users can choose between flat, warm, and bright vocal tones, each indicated by a different colour. Once a tone has been chosen, the 'correction' dial can be used to define the sensitivity of the pitch correction. Users can also press and hold the left footswitch to trigger the pitch correction's vocal synthesizer mode.

AUTUNER's versatility shines particularly brightly thanks to its built-in effects modules. The first of these is delay; the delay module can be can controlled with its dedicated dial, with users having the option to choose between tape delay, digital delay, slapback delay, or bypass. The pedal's left footswitch serves as a tap switch, which allows the user to determine the speed of the delay module.

A reverb module is also featured within AUTUNER. This too has its own dedicated dial, which can be used to morph between room delay, hall delay, and plate delay. Whilst the pitch correction features of the pedal are limited only to vocals, these delay and reverb modules ensure that the pedal has plenty of dedicated features to offer MOOER's guitarist fanbase.

As is common with MOOER products, AUTUNER features a wide range of control mechanisms. In addition to the left footswitch's dual functionality, the right footswitch also acts as a bypass for the pitch correction and effects, whilst still ensuring the tone processing remains active. CubuSynth 4VCLFO Quad Voltage Controlled Low Frequency Oscillator Module
Cat: 1006079 Rel: 30 Jun 24

Quad voltage controlled low frequency oscillator module - 10HP
Notes: The 4VCLFO is four LFOs with triangle Outputs in 10hp. It features a knob for the Frequency of each LFO and CV inputs with attenuators.

The "Aux" input is normalized to the four CV inputs, so you can modulate all LFOs with one signal at the same time. Plugging a cable into the CV input breaks its connection from the aux input.

This way you can create more interesting Modulations for your Patches.

You can easily customise LFO speeds to your liking by changing capacitor values on the back.

Features:

- Size: 10hp
- Single SMD Pre-soldered PCB design
- 10 pin power
12 mA +12V
12 mA -12V

CubuSynth Exhaust v2 Expander Module For Engine v2
Cat: 1006096 Rel: 30 Jun 24

Expander module fr the Engine v2
Notes: The Exhaust adds many features to your Engine V2 VCO module like Sub-octaves, Mixing and a Gate / Trigger generated by the Chaos signal.

You can select one of the two VCO cores of the engine to Produce Square Waves one and two octaves below the Oscillators frequency. You can blend between -1 and -2 octaves and Set the volume they are Mixed into the Main "Mix" output.

The knobs "VCO1" "VCO2" and "AM" set the level of the selected waveform of each VCO and the AM output from the Engine to the Main Mix. The "Ext In" Input is normalled from the RM output, but you can plug in any other signal to go to the Main Mix.

The V Ref sets a Voltage between 0V and +10V which compares against the Chaos signal from the engine (Chaos attenuator on the Engine doesn't matter). Whenever the Chaos signal is higher in Voltage than the Knob setting, It will Give you a Gate or Trigger signal depending on the switch. There is also a CV input, which offsets your V Ref and can create interesting Rhythms.

Features:

Two Sub-Octave generator with selection switch, Mix knob for -1 and -2 octaves (marked as /2 and /4)
5 Channel Audio Mixer for 4 different Outputs from the Engine and level for the Sub-Octave generator
External Input for Mixing with other signals

CubuSynth ADSR VC Looping Envelope Generator Module
Cat: 1006105 Rel: 30 Jun 24

Voltage controlled looping envelope generator module - 10HP
Notes: The CubuSynth ADSR Module is a VC looping envelope generator, with controls for the Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release stages, for overall Time of the envelope and CV inputs for Time and Level.

The EnvGen8 chip was written/designed by Tom Wiltshire aka "Electric Druid".

1 ATTACK (1ms - 10s)
Sets the time, the Envelope takes to reach full level from the moment a gate is detected (Key is pressed)
2 DECAY (1ms - 10s)
Sets the time, after the envelope hits full level, to fade to the level set by the SUSTAIN Knob.
3 SUSTAIN (0% - 100%)
Sets the Volume to stay after the decay, while the GATE input is high.
4 RELEASE (1ms - 10s)
Sets the time for the fade out on falling edge of the GATE input (after the Key is released)
5 MODE switch
Select between exponential and linear curves.
6 PUNCH switch
Adds extra thump to very short percussive envelopes
7 LOOPING MODE switch
Allows selection between three different modes of operation. Gated mode is a normal envelope. Gated Looping will
trigger the ATTACK stage when the GATE goes high, then continue looping whilst the GATE remains high, and will
RELEASE to zero when the GATE goes low. The LFO Looping mode loops continuously and ignores input from the
GATE.
8 TIME (x1 - x100)
Overall Time control which shortens the length of the entire envelope.
9 TIME CV Attenuator
Attenuates incoming CV for Time modulation. Higher voltages will shorten the
length of the envelope.
10 TRIG Input
Re-trigger for the envelope. Useful for Polyphonic patches. Envelope goes to
ATTACK stage on rising edge of 0-5V pulse while Gate can still be on.
11 GATE Input
Normalized to TRIG Input. Envelope goes to RELEASE stage on the falling edge.
12 Level CV Input
Control the overall Volume of the envelope. Can be used for velocity control.
If nothing is plugged in, the Volume stays on max.
13 OUT
CV-output of the envelope (0 to +5V)
14 LED
Indicates the output voltage.
15 TIME CV
CV Input for Time modulation. Higher voltages will shorten the length of the
envelope.
16 INV. OUT
Inverted voltage of the output CV (0 to -5V)

Dimensions
10 HP
25 mm deep

Current Draw
16 mA +12V
16 mA -12V
