Electro House Recommendations July 2013

Review: Having spent many years impressing as one of dance music's premier live acts, Groove Armada decided to knock performance on the head (for now, at least) back in 2010. Three years on, they've decided to commemorate the occasion with a particularly raw and raucous recording of their last gig, at Brixton Academy. Packed with familiar favourites, album cuts and personal favourites, Last Night in Brixton benefits greatly from the sound of a rapturous audience. With its Chemicals-ish madness ("Frogma", 'Warsaw"),and proper festival anthems ("Song for Mutya", "Superstylin", a slightly out of place "At The River"), it captures a moment in time brilliantly.
