Review: Anonymous artist RS Turbo made a big mark back in July with a first one sided white label 12" that harked back to a period between 92 and 94 when rave took a dark turn. Now he or she or they return with another red hot missive. 'Drifting Through' is fierce jungle with an old school feel. The drums tumble endlessly and keep you on edge as purging bass goes even deeper down below you. Some nice piano deployment and careful vocal yelps add soul to this most essential and high impact of 12"s.

Hurricane breaks, treacle sub bass and paranoid pads, softened ever-so-slightly by a classic breathy vocal, this bangs with future promise now just like its earlier incarnations would have done almost 30 years ago. This should bring back some memories for you...
