Review: Feel-good minimal from Rico Friebe and Rico Puestel on faux-gold-foiled 12" vinyl, who lend their signature style a surprise French touch. Echoing timeless Thomas Bangalter, 'How You Feel (For Me)' is a detuned synth sweeping swathe of chord and offbeat hat, all centring on a hypnotic repetitious acknowledgement of how the listener feels. The B-side features said acapella, in all its standalone emotive glory. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether we're being told how to feel or whether we're being asked, but with a banger such as this one, we're not inclined to care about the difference!

This latest drop comes as a hand-stamped one-sided 12" limited to 100 copies on Exhibition. 'We're Younger' sets to work over the course of more than 10 minutes, and not a second is wasted. Right from the off it is a mind-melting track with a real physical impact - the drums are raw and heavy, synths are twisted into all sorts of shapes, funky guitar riffs pop out the mix and menacing vocals add further layers of girt and grime to this warehouse banger.

His 'Endless Summer' comes on one sided 12" and very much captures those feelings of its title after a long hot few months with no cares in the world. Review: Deep techno mainstay Rico Puestel has many killer cuts in his back catalogue and now he has decided to remaster and repress some of them. The Undeniable Classics Vol 1 is a bold title for your own work but the tunes stand up, thankfully. This is the first time these have actually been available on vinyl too so do not sleep as 'Volute' is a perfect early evening roller with dubby drums and languid hits that hook you in and get you ready for more. 'Remembering October 3rd' is a cut for the early mornings with soulful pads and vocals soundtracking the moment the sun first peaks through the blinds.

Review: Techno veteran Rico Puestel is back with a new album that tries to answer the question 'If Techno has left the building, what is actually left of it?' The original sessions for this music also gave rise to the first album in this series but now get offered up as 'The Aftermath.' They find Rico tapping into pure body music, 90s techno and hefty club sounds that unfold on chunky, physical rhythms with all manner of tripped-out, industrial, dark and deft sound designs and rusty synths up top. Proper techno for proper clubs.

Review: Rico Puestel is riding high after a standout album on Harthouse this year, and now he's dropping back in on his Exhibition label for a special single-sided issue of his track 'Make A Way (For Women)'. Presented as an urgent declaration protesting violence against women, it's part of Puestel's publicly announced final run of releases, and it presents his ideas in a trademark minimal style. Using finely edited slithers of female vocal alongside a crisp, detailed rhythm track, it's a sturdy club tool with a purpose.
