  3. The Spirit (7:03)
  4. Dreamer (4:53)
Review: Bristol's Lawrence Guy has already served up a killer EP on this label this year in the form of The Sun Is Warm And Directly Above You, and now he brings yet more happiness on this new four tracker. The title track is awash with neat guitar riffs and sci-fi sound effects, smart filter use and organic sounding drums that find their way into your affections in no time. 'Experience Health' is more bustling, with breakbeats and nice molten bass making you move. 'The Spirit' is perfectly loose and ramshackle house with proper piano playing and "Dreamer' ends this cosy and heartwarming EP on a surfing lo-fi house vibe that bubbles with new age energy.

Review: London-based producer Laurence Guy returns to Japanese label Mule Musiq to follow up last year's wonderful "All I See Is Her" EP. More sublime and dreamy mood music of the deeper persuasion featured here, from the skippy/looped-up melancholia of glassy-eyed epic "Why Do Cowboys Never Die In The East?" (13 minutes of pure bliss if we've ever heard one) to quality B side offerings: the UK-style jazzy broken beat of "The One Where I Like The Vocals" and EP highlight "Dissociation In The Car Park At Sainsbury's" - the humorous name covers up an entirely sombre and introspective affair, where woozy and meandering chords support brittle and dusty rhythms - just grasping for a small moment of hope.
