Review: As with its four fabulous predecessors, "Fulltime Factory 5" offers up a swathe of fresh re-edits and reworks of tracks from the vaults of Italy's cult disco-era imprint Full Time Records. First Re-Loved regular Birdee offers up a "French Touch" style disco-house revision of The Rainbow Team's "Dreaming", before we're treated to a squelchy "M.B edit instrumental dub" of Jimmy Ross' colourful electrofunk jam "Chocolate Ice". Elsewhere, DJ Rocca delivers a chunky, extra-percussive rub of Trance's lively and lovely boogie cut "Hang On It", while DJ Friction brilliantly rearranges the low-slung, mid-tempo disco-funk IC Bell's tremendous "Night In Musicland".

Review: Back to 1981 with this absolutely divine piece of 80s funk boogie from Trinidad soul merchant Jimmy Ross. Whether "First True Love Affair" is about matters of the heart or our relationship with our record collections we don't know, but what we do know is that this remains a solid treat for the dancefloor. We also know that Larry Levan's mix still totally slaps in every possible way from the big synth overlays and Q&As and dynamic arrangement that keeps breaking down to the juiciest basslines Levan ever touched. Feel the love.

Review: First reissue since 1982: Jimmy's stone cold disco anthem came courtesy of cult Italian dance label Full Time Records and was almost instantly immortalised by a Larry Levan remix. Both versions are here, remastered in all their glory; Levan takes the lead with a deep dubby seven minute extension that introduces each element with measured grace and groove while the original kicks straight into action with serious boogie funk flare. Fall in love again.

Review: Standby for some gloriously upbeat disco gold from the Full Time production crew out of Italy as they serve up this ninth volume of their Fulltime Factory series. It kicks off with the enduring sounds of Jimmy Ross and his slinky 'SOS of Love' as remixed by Flowersons. Rainbow Team's 'Tell Me' then gets a rework from JB Boogie that updates the drums, keeps the funky riffs and slowly builds to a colourful peak. The flip side has a nice remaster of Galaxy Band's analogue disco wonkery 'Gosh' and a second MB edit, this time of Tony Cicco's low slung, horn lead teaser 'O' Guaglione.'
