Here he pairs up with J Lamotta on a new collection of tunes that fuse soul, deep grooves and hip hop into a seductive record for late-night sessions. The sublime vocals add a touch of classic to tunes like 'Put It Aside' which rides a broken and fractured beat that conveys real heartache, while elsewhere 'Carry On' is an intimate piece that speaks to the soul.
