Review: Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas label has released a slew of top-quality deep house and dub techno music since its inception ten years ago in 2014. The label continues to be one of the top labels in Europe currently for deep listening dance music. This compilation celebrates the history of the label and is part one of the three EP's that will honor the Spanish imprint. This brilliant collection features the beautiful 'Tali' by Pablo Bolivar as well as Germany's Iron Curtis dancefloor burning remix of 'Boundaries' by Yarosslav. To close out the first side of the 12", you have the dark and mysterious dub techno gem 'Candelaria' by Krissky. The B-Side is equally as great with Powel's gentle tech remix of melancholy star 'Vine of the soul' by n2Deep. Then you have Anton Lanski who is also featured giving us the emotional 'Never knew her'. Closing the EP out is tech brilliant 'Light shadow' by Agatha Pher. This is a great example of a label showcasing the perfect songs that exemplify their labels sound.

Review: Hudd Traxx was founded in 2005 in Huddersfield. It set about uncovering music from the likes of Iz & Diz, Stacy Kidd, Jason Hodges and Mike Steele - who all helped put the label firmly on the map with their releases. To celebrate a decade and a half in the business, Danny White and Co. have tapped some label alumni for fresh material to celebrate the occasion. Veteran American producer JT Donaldson is certainly no stranger to the label, and he serves up the boompty and hypnotic groove of 'What I Got', while Berlin's Iron Curtis pays homage to one of the scene greats on 'Kerri On (Chandelier Dub)' and Swiss deep house engineer Agnes returns with some typically dubby and minimal house on 'Embryonic Connections' .

Review: There's plenty of fine, and in some cases overlooked, material to be found on Frank Music's third deep dive into their vaults. Chief amongst these is I:Cube's fantastic remix of Johannes Albert and Iron Curtis's 'Hurting', where star fall synth sounds tumble down over delay-laden machine drums, lilting lead lines and a typically chunky, hypnotic bassline. Further floor-friendly fare is provided courtesy of the 'Italo Mix' of Albert's 'Kururh' - a throbbing new-Italo-disco gem with bonus dream house piano riffs - and Albert's joyous classic house-meets-Metro Aarea remix of Sascha Criminiera's 'Milla Calls'. Throw in a solid I:Cube bonus beats and the dream Balearic acid of Johannes Albert's 'Schonrain (Ibiza Mix)' and you have a flawless package.

Review: While second guessing what Iron Curtis will offer up next is always tricky, you can guarantee that it will be deep, alien sounding and hugely atmospheric. This trademark sensibility is at the heart of "And The Temper", an intoxicating, otherworldly EP that sees him drift between wonky dancefloor electronica ("010103"), dusty interludes ("And The Temper"), electrofunk-influenced broken house deepness ("Mars (Epoch Mix)"), intergalactic late night futurism ("Arash"), ultra-deep analogue workouts (the fuzzy, slightly stoned warmth of "Fine Fine") and mind-soothing ambient bliss (superb closing cut "Strategie '98").
