It's no exaggeration to say that NGRM has become a bona fide disco classic since its first release that has stood the test of time. Crazy P band member Chris Todd took the original version from the band's Stop, Space, Return album and remixed it up for the dance floor adding disco drums, rhodes keys and arpeggiated synth sequences. On the flip side there is another sublime remix from Still Going, the New York duo best known for their output on DFA. All in all an absolutely essential addition to any record collection...

And so it is that Walk Don't Walk asks four crucial artists to add their own spin to some fine originals. DJ Nature brings his textbook rawness and heaviness to 'SOS' while Ilija Rudman's take on 'Night Rain' is lovely downtempo boogie funk. Running Back label head Gerd Janson is in dazzling disco mode on his take on 'We Will F**k You Up' and last of all is a super vibe and atmospheric house joint from Ron Basejam.

Review: With an intrinsic link to the Futureboogie crew in the live arena, long-serving UK house crew Crazy P bring their broad sound to the label with gusto, maximising on the skills the component member possess. Most apparent of these is Danielle Moore with her arresting croon shining through the most on "Clouds", and also popping up in snippet form on "Burning". There is a spread of different moods at work across the tracks from seedy electro tones on the first track to the sizzling disco flavour of "Virtuality", leaving plenty of room for Outboxx to lay down a blissful slice of keys-rich deep house in their inimitable style.

Review: Harking back to tracks from their 2011 LP When We On, 20:20 Vision place perennial nu-disco heads Crazy P on the operating table with a host of remixers hovering, scalpel in hand. Burnski is up first, tackling "Beatbox" with a measured deep house cut that nods to the Hot Creations brand of basslines, but also works some powerful strings into the background to add an emotive edge. Bonar Bradberry is on equal form when he takes on "Wecanonlybewhoweare", running off a similar kind of pristine bottom end synth and letting the drums roll insistently while licks of Danielle Moore's vocal come drifting in and out of the mix. It's Soul Clap who switch things with a little help from Slow Hands, opting for a slow, pensive ballad version of "Eruption" that calls to mind Hall & Oates-style R&B constructions.

Review: Whilst disco stalwarts Crazy P and Bristol lynchpin Appleblim might not seem like the most probable of bed fellows, kudos to 20:20 Vision for enlisting the latter to remix the former as the results are illuminating. The Apple Pips boss is clearly a fan of "Changes", having included the track amidst a constantly exciting FACT mix last year, and he offers two varying but equally excellent revisions on this 12". The "Bristol Soul Mix" pays homage to early 80s sound systems such as The Wild Bunch and Soul II Soul, and also sits perfectly amidst the current lineage of dusted and broken house music that's making Bristol so exciting right now. It's complemented, or perhaps overshadowed, by the monolithic creeping nature of "Deep Under Dub" which is clearly geared for the darkest moments in the darkest clubs.

Review: The second of two Crazy P gets the Remix treatment EPs to drop this week, with 20:20 Vision presenting some more familiar disco-centric names to complement the curveball that was the (admittedly stunning) Appleblim remixes. Band member Chris Todd adopts his Hot Toddy alias to deliver a typically searing midtempo house revision that deftly incorporates the rhythm from Quando Quango's Love Tempo amidst the constantly simmering synth patterns, whilst 2020 Soundsystem's Fernando goes deep into the track, offering up two versions. His stripped down and built back up dub version hypnotises, whilst the flipside vocal version waits a glorious age before Danielle Moore's familiar refrain appears. Needwant's Mario Basanov adds further horizontal poise on a string heavy bubbling disco revision.

Review: A second round of vinyl sampling disco heat from Paper Recordings to whet collective appetites ahead of next year's bumper Crazy P remix album which features a veritable feast of production talent including Yam Who, PBR Streetgang and Rune Lindbaek. UK legends Faze Action add their distinctive production touch to "Drop Your Weapon", retaining the guitar licks but adding swathes of low slung bass to a relentless modern instrumental disco groove that pulses with delight across the A Side. Stateside icon Brennan Green backs this with a take on "3 Plays It Cool" which excels via the stripped back, bassline dominant groove and generous rhythmic usage of vocal edits. Much deeper than the A Side, there's a gloriously menacing liquid undertone that runs throughout on another classy refix from the New Yorker.

Review: 20/20 Vision have enlisted disco overlords Crazy P to curate a brand new series of records for the label, with exclusive tracks produced by some of their favourite artists on the cards. Designed to stretch beyond the world of disco and showcase the band's wide ranging and eclectic musical tastes, there'll be Balearic moments, downtempo beats, indie dance and electronica spread over four vinyl records.
Volume One kicks things off in style with a brand new track from Crazy P themselves, 'People (We Can Transform)', a slinky medium paced groove run through with a slowly opening acid line, funky guitars and an uplifting vocal. Elsewhere, Ashley Beedle declares 'War On The Bullshit (Revive)' with a barnstorming dancefloor stomper and Felix Dickinson remixes ASHRR's 'Fizzy' into a classy noir instrumental where jazz funk keyboards swirl around a rock solid b-line. Change Request & Saucy Lady close the whole affair with soul drenched diva-fest 'Be Dramatic', definitely the most old skool of the lot. It all bodes very well for the next three instalments.

Tigerbalm then heads into a tropical oasis with 'Cosmic Union' (feat Joy Tyson) which has Afro rhythms and steamy vocals bringing the heat. Ruf Dug shows his multi-genre chops again with 'Vape Quarter Rhythm' which is part proto-house cut and part dreamy Italo bliss out with rave whistles and hands-in-the-air chords. Ibiza's Tuccillo closes out with one of his signature Balearic gems in 'Siroco', which is as breezy and carefree as cocktails by the sea at sundown.

Review: Oliver Dollar - real name Oliver Siebert - has always been open to the idea of collaboration, with previous EPs variously featuring hook-ups with Jesse Rose, Jimi Jules and Chuck Daniels, amongst others. For "Loose Boat", a single-sided missive on Osunlade's Yoruba Soul Records imprint, the Berlin-based producer has joined forces with Crazy P main men Jim Barron and Chris Todd. Seemingly built around delay-laden samples from an old Marvin Gaye cut (but don't quote us on that), the track rolls along on a rich bassline and handclap-driven beats, with dreamy pads and impeccable electric piano solos only adding to the groovy, sun-baked feel.
