It's a record of deeply spiritual atmospheres and impulsive grooves that bring to mind the likes of Art Ensemble of Chicago or even Max Roach. The music meditates on the tension between the sense of self and the inner being and has you deep in reflective thought as these top-notch musicians serve up a cosmic trip that is searching for answers. A superb album by any measure.
