In the centre position, users can use the volume controls to mix both circuits in parallel. And with the footswitch, they're in charge of when each circuit kicks in. Flick it to the right, and Circuit #0 flows into Circuit #1; shift left, and Circuit #1 flows into Circuit #0. When chaining one circuit into another, users can simply crank up the volume on the first to push the second into a thrilling buzz of distortion.

Thanks to their dynamic STELLAR.45 driver (48 ohms) with its broad frequency response of 5-40,000 Hz, the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition headphones deliver studio reference sound on a wide range of playback equipment.

Stellar.45

For this, the sound transducer uses a neodymium magnet and a voice coil made from copper-plated precision wires. The resulting high conductivity of the driver system at low weight is the reason for its high performance. The driver system keeps distortion extremely low, even at high sound pressures. The Stellar.45 has an impedance of 48 ohms and proves that low-impedance sound transducers can deliver excellent studio-quality sound.

You want it, you get it- a detachable cable

As requested by a number of users, the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition headphones now offer even more flexibility thanks to their detachable cable. The headphones come with a 3m-long straight cable with lockable 3-pin mini XLR connector. This can be connected to a variety of devices thanks to a 3.5mm stereo jack including a screwable 6.3mm adaptor.

The most comfortable 770 of all time

For decades, the studio headphones in the DT range have not only been classified as a sound reference, but also a benchmark in comfort. In addition to the robust spring steel headband construction, it is the iconic velour ear pads that ensure the headphones are comfortable even for long studio sessions. The soft memory foam used in the headband means it ergonomically adjusts to the shape of the head. One new feature is the integrated fontanel recess. Both the headband and the ear pads can be replaced if necessary.

Notes: Egostrip Book 1 is a beautifully designed collection of Dan Lish’s stunning character illustrations from the world of hip hop and beyond. There are 138 illustrations of pioneering artists from hip hop’s golden era, such as De La Soul, Madlib, DJ Premier, Mobb Deep, Nas, Cypress Hill, J.Period, J Dilla, Kool Keith, MF DOOM, The Roots, Biggie Smalls, A Tribe Called Quest, Biz Markie and The Beastie Boys.

The book is 27.2cm x 29.4cm, and the 160 pages are printed and bound on heavyweight 130gsm paper with a hardback cover. It’s also available as a limited edition 20cm square art print (see left for design).

Notes: The "uMM" combines a MIDI merger and two independent THRU distributors in a module that is only 4 HP wide. All sockets on the module are in MIDI TRS-B format.

At the heart of the two-input MIDI merger is a small, powerful ARM processor with plenty of buffer memory. Two MIDI streams are mixed to one output and can also be tapped via an additional second output. Two LEDs signal the operation of the merger: one LED indicates MIDI activity at the inputs, and a second LED warns of too much data at the inputs.

The second group of functions consists of two independent, separate MIDI THRU distributors. The MIDI data at the respective MIDI input can be picked up and distributed at the three THRU outputs. If required, a 1-to-5 distributor can be created from the two units by connecting an output of the left group to the input of the right group.

Notes: A couple of years back, Frequency Central developed Cosmic Background as a standalone percussion voice. The concept was to bundle all required sub-modules behind one panel, pre-patched, yet also fully modular, with each sub-module having its own inputs and outputs. This proved to be a very popular product, but Frequency Central decided to replace Cosmic Background's noise generator with a VCO (and do a few other tweaks), creating a cute little fully modular synth voice ripe for sequencing - and that's how Dark Star was born!

Dark Star consists of 4 sections:

Voltage Controlled Oscillator based on AS3340 with sawtooth, triangle and pulse waveforms
Voltage Controlled Filter with lowpass and highpass options, Drive control, Sweep control which attenuates amount of Release CV
Release generator with CV input for voltage control of release time. Option for sustain via jumper on rear panel.
Voltage Controlled Amplifier
Together they form a pre-patched super versatile analogue synthesiser voice.

Additionally, each section is fully modular in it's own right, so there are patch points for:

Here are some useful patches to try:

Release CV output to PWM CV input, for swept PWM
VCF OUT to VCF IN, thickens and further overdrives the filtering
VCO OUT to VCF CV input, for fizzy FM of the filter
Use a multiple to patch 1V/oct to Release CV input, lower notes will have longer release, higher notes will have shorter release

Notes: The Mutant Hot Glue is a versatile bus mixer for analogue effects chain design. The included analogue compressor offers series or parallel compression and a sidechain input, making it particularly well suited to drum processing. The voltage controlled distortion is based on ideas borrowed from the guitar pedals responsible for a lot of yesterday's acid style techno sounds, but improved over the guitar equivalents, and made specifically for synthesizer and drum processing. The distortion can be used in its default position, normalized to the effects send, or like every other part of the module, broken out and used elsewhere in your modular system.

By default, the 4 channel mixer's output conveniently feeds into the compressor's input, giving access to easy New York style parallel compression by way of the compressor blend control. The dedicated output and mixer bypass switch for channel A allow you to use it as a sidechain source for the compressor. An effects send and return allow you to create complex effects routings within your modular system. With the number of excellent DSP and other effects modules on the market today, this makes it easy to combine modules to great effect, all within the eurorack modular domain.

Redesigned by Erica Synths in close collaboration with Hexinverter. Minor alterations were made in mechanical assembly and digital controls to address Erica synths manufacturing routines and chip shortages, but the analogue signal path is 100% identical to the original version.

The new Mk3 Driver - Andy Timmons Full Range Overdrive is an overdrive workstation that allows you to orchestrate everything from a clean boost to a treble supercharger, a chimey tube-amp overdrive to a square-wave, germanium fuzz generator and more.

This Pedal combines a three-control blues driver circuit with two switches for the voicing of Drive and Tone characteristics. Robert and Andy developed these switches to give players a broad range of drive tones. The Drive toggle engages two germanium diodes for a smoother, slightly compressed drive. Switch to Andy's clipping style for a brighter and more articulate attack.

Every part of the circuit has been optimized for tone and the demanding needs of a recording and touring artist such as Andy Timmons. Andy Timmons - Tone Switch

The Mk3 Driver gives you two tone control circuits to choose from. When the Tone Switch is up and in the AT Position the tone control features Andy's preferred voicing and low-end response. Each note in a chord is clear and articulate. If the Tone Switch is down and in the RK Position that features the legendary Phat Boost providing more low-end frequency response, perfect for pushing up vintage or single coil pickups.

Full Range Overdrive - Germanium Toggle Switch

This pedal's circuit combines JFET saturation, diode clipping, and op-amp clipping in order to create its harmonically rich tone. Drive Switch UP for AT Clipping - this mode features asymmetrical LED and silicon diode clipping and is Andy's Super AT Mod sound. Drive Switch Down for RK Clipping - now the circuit features two germanium diodes for clipping. This mode can sound a bit like a vintage fuzz pedal with a softer, smoother feel.

Buffered Bypass or True Bypass

The Mk3 Driver features our industry leading buffer for noise-free switching. We have developed a buffer which not only makes your rig sound better, it gives you silent switching with no tone loss. Switch between true-bypass and buffered on the fly. Simply press and hold the foot switch for two seconds and the pedal will switch between true-bypass and buffered bypass! Winnows brings radical resonant filtering to the 1U row. Make your basslines growl like it's 1999. Create clean resonant tones and layers, tuned percussion, steep filtered peaks, vowel filters and more. Each filter channel comprises two state variable filter cores, the first producing a 2-Pole band-pass response, with resonance and self-oscillation amounts set by a 3-Pole feedback network. Signals are then routed through a 1-Pole low-pass damping stage to remove harshness if required. This can be routed to the channel output, or switched and routed through a second series of resonant SVF and 1-Pole LPF damping stages. This circuitry is identical per channel.

Notes: Honey is a palm-sized, touch-based noise instrument based on the bytebeat principle. It runs on a single AAA battery and emits sound through a speaker. It doesn't have an audio jack. It creates dynamic sounds by manipulating variables and mathematical operations through touch.

The internal dynamic equations consist of five variables and four operations, with six possible operators for each operation. They are constantly changing and forming new equations, creating chaotic randomness.

If the unit does not respond correctly, the battery needs to be replaced.

Complete Insert FX Plugin Control

Panorama CS12 excels at controlling plugins. You can control any plugin without looking at the plugins' UI so you can focus on creating, composing and editing.

Many commonly used plugins are pre-mapped including of course Logic Pro's own. Panorama CS12 dedicates 12 RGB illuminated 360 pots, 4 display buttons and an additional 4 RGB LED buttons to plugin control. Every control can be assigned on multiple pages ensuring as a complete plugin experience, with no parameter left behind.

Via the ControlCore mapping system, it stores all settings in unique files so they can be ported to other computer systems and ensure compatibility with other DAWs in the future.

Any Plugin? ....Really?

Any plugin that presents its parameters for automation in Logic Pro, can be controlled from Panorama CS12. That includes Logic Pro's own plugins and any AU plugin hosted in Logic Pro.

There is no wrapper or plugin host. It just works.

Plugin Slot Selection

CS12 control insert plugins like no controller has ever done before. The 8 plugin slot select buttons are illuminated when plugins are present in the first 8 slots and the top button toggles between slots 1-8/9-16. Press a button and control the insert plugin immediately. Press another button and now control that plugin.

Control Any Parameter NOW

Control any parameter by simply clicking on it. The 100mm ALPS fader immediately jumps to the clicked parameters position and you take over from there. The fader or pan rotary, can be used to control any parameter in the currently selected Logic Pro channel, at any time.

Activate the Select button and the motorized fader now controls any parameter you click. Any mixer channel, instrument or insert effect plugin parameters. Click, control, click control. Super easy.

Plugin Parameter Learn

A plugin quick learn feature enables assignments on the fly. It's as simple as moving a parameter and moving a control to complete assignment. And while you are at it, change the LED colour of the control too.

Nektarine Map Creation

For the ultimate in control mapping, use the included Nektarine application/plugin. Assign parameters to controls using drag and drop, create your page structure and name parameters and pages so they are optimized for CS12. Once saved, plugin maps are picked up by ControlCore for use with CS12.

Precision control at 10x resolution

14 bit control resolution is not limited to the motorized fader. With the Fine button (magnifier icon) enabled each of the 12 pots control at 14 bit resolution. In practice this means you'll be able adjust parameters with the same fine grained values available through your plugins UI or up to 10 x regular control resolution.

Notes: Dark Light is a dual reverb featuring both Dark Star and Sunlight. With all the routing options you could want, including separate stereo, parallel mono, and series mono, Dark Light takes Dark Star’s dark pitch shifted, delayed, and bit crushed reverb voices and Sunlight’s bright modulated, comb filtered, and bandpassed reverb voices and combines them into one massive sound to take your time and drift away in. Each pedal maintains its core sound and control set, then expands from there.
