Vincetiulian (AKA producer Chrirches Vincentiu Lulian) has quickly become one of the leading lights in the rapidly expanding Romanian minimal house scene. Here he returns to action following a six-month sabbatical via a rock-solid three-tracker on Liniar. His ability to neatly sidestep Romanian tech-house cliches is much in evidence on A-side "Melorhythm", where poignant and melancholic flashes of melody weave in and out of a metallic, broken house groove. While the sound palette is reminiscent of his previous productions, it's the brilliantly off-kilter nature of the rhythm that's tickled our fancy. On the flip you'll find the meticulously programmed tech-house box jam that is "Synchronized" (which features some brilliantly perky Clavinet flashes) and the undulating deepness of "Fedrova".
