So far, this giddy tribute to contemporary "wave" music from around the world has received rave reviews. It's easy to see why. The good folks at Oraculo Records have gathered together ten tracks that variously touch on synth-wave, dark-wave, minimal wave and new wave revivalism, and pressed them up on two heavyweight slabs of orange coloured vinyl. There's much to admire throughout, from the clandestine moodiness of Sine Sliex's "Antidote" and the EBM-influenced darkness of "Metropolis" by Synth Versus Me, to Lust Era's brilliant early New Order tribute ("Tyrant (Paralelo Remix)" and the Gary Numan-goes-Italo-disco throb of Fopmusic's "You're So".
