Say what you want about Ibiza, but the island has clearly spurred a new sense of creativity in Mark Barrot and his International Feel label. 2015 has seen International Feel on wonderful form, issuing records at a rate to match their initial rise and with the quality to match. Fresh off that excellent Gonno record, it's Barrot's turn to shine with the two track Bush Society 12" revealing the latest development in the veteran musician's sound. The title track effectively links two periods of Barrot's recent life, commencing with field recordings from his time in Uruguay and gradually unfurling into a ten minute epic that deftly nudges up the chug factor with aplomb as it goes. "Saviours Or Savages?" is a fine track too, a near perfect exercise in B-side Balearica.
