A three LP collection of collaborations between John Foxx (of Ultravox fame) and Harold Budd: arguably the world's most famous ambient/avant -garde music composer. Budd and Foxx had long been engaged by each other's work, eventually working together in 1996. These two discs are a record of those sessions, entitled Translucence and Drift Music, which were originally released in 2003, while Nighthawks was completed in 2011, along with minimalist composer Ruben Garcia. The latter is dedicated to Garcia, who sadly passed away in 2013. John Foxx has said that Budd personally recommended Garcia's music, a rare compliment from such an accomplished musician. Moreover, he described the late pianist as 'a truly independent and idiosyncratic artist.'
