More from hard working Parisian producer Mickael Jeanerret, AKA Janeret, as he swaps grown-up deep house for Motor City inspired dancefloor pastures. A-side "Sungrazer" is particularly special; a spacey, mood-enhancing romp that wraps dreamy chords, sci-fi electronics and gentle acid lines around a crunchy tech-house groove. The TB-303 style acid lines play an even more prominent role on deeper, but arguably more rhythmically powerful, flipside "Astral". These nagging, restless motifs effectively drive the track forwards, allowing Jeanerret to delve deep in his box of intergalactic chords for suitably star-gazing accompaniment. He predictably finds the right sound, though it's the weightiness of the drums that really catches the ear.
