Last seen on the Join Our Club label, rising UK producer Clarke Sawkill steps into the physical realm with Prototype, an excellent debut for the Bokhari Records imprint. Primed for optimum club play, Sawkill lays down the one original track which is complemented on the B Side by a remix from the excellent Mr Beatnick. "Prototype" is one long, lolloping slo mo DJ tool with the sort of rolling bassline that tends to wedge itself quite comfortably in your affections and demonstrates Sawkill might be a producer to keep your eye on. Mr Beatnick opts to implement a slightly faster tempo that suits his now familiar sense of melodic warmth down to a tee. Another great 12" from the Bokhari crew.
