NRK Sound Division head honcho Nick Harris aka A Sagitarriun returns on his own Elastic Dreams imprint with more retro inspired techno grooves on The Magick Box EP. Starting out with the loopy, dusted down, vintage sounding funk of "Kobalt", the A side is then further complimented by the rather Sahko sounding bleep techno of "Curviture" which will have you truly hypnotised by its nefarious aesthetics. On the flip, there's the thumping and functional minimal techno workout "Bleepanomix" which channels the spirit of classic Robert Hood and "Floating On Saltwater" offers an odd highlight with this haunting electro-funk workout full of rusty drum computer patterns and the unmistakeable vintage flair of analogue arpeggiations.
