This module was designed with live performance in mind!
CV/Gate is an expander module for Malekko Sync (connects via 6-pin cable included). Malekko SYNC sends incoming MIDI information or trigger information to CV/GATE expander outputs in 3 selectable modes (Mono, Poly and Drum Trigger Modes).
Class compliant on both PC and Mac.
Invert Mix Eurorack module including 3 audio or DC inputs, 3 inverted outputs as well as an inverted sum and non-inverted sum outs. Invert waveforms, envelopes etc.
MIDI adapter cables with DIN connectors and 3.5 mm TRS jacks in a modern, white/pink design. One pack contains two cables (In/Out).
The MIDI to 3.5mm converter cables provide 5-pin MIDI inputs or outputs for the Malekko Sync USB/MIDI Interface.
At first blush, the Anti-Oscillator appears as a standard voltage controlled oscillator, with volt per octave input, linear and exponential FM inputs (with attenuators), fine and coarse frequency controls, and dedicated triangle output. But then, there is the "MAYHEM" output!
Mayhem starts as a square wave and morphs into twisted, animated waveforms as the "Init Wave" control travels clockwise or is modulated. Not a standard waveshaper or wavefolder, Mayhem produces multiple, altogether new waveshapes in series as it is modulated. Sometimes creating an almost PWM "fat" sound, and other times creating very organic, metallic sounds as the Anti-Oscillator is modulated. The timbres generated by the Mayhem output are often eccentric and very rich in harmonics, perfect for a filter to "bite" into.
The waveshaper CV attenuator (Wave Env) is normalled to feed the triangle output in when no input is connected. The exponential and linear CV inputs are normalled to feed the Mayhem output into their respective CV input when no CV input is connected. When using the triangle output and with no CV input connected to the exponential input, for example, you can turn the the Exp control clockwise to progress through new wave shapes, starting with a triangle instead of a square for a smoother waveshaped output.
The Anti-Oscillator is know for its great FM response and capability to achieve fat and clangorous sounds. It pairs perfectly with the Wiard Oscillator for modulation, and the Borg and Boogie filters to shape and tame the Mayhem output!
Analog multi-function envelope module:
The Malekko Richter Envelator is part of a series of modules in Eurorack format, offer the same great sound, ergonomics, musicality, and quality that made the Wiard 300 series legendary, at a fraction of the cost and size.
The attack and decay slopes are individually voltage controllable with input attenuators. Each unit outputs the envelope, inverse of the envelope (negative going envelope), a voltage step signal during the attack phase, and a pulse at the end of the decay phase.
The three-position mode switch determines the function of the envelopes. When set to AR, the envelope will act as an AR envelope, maintaining full level until GATE [in] goes "low". In AD mode, the envelope acts as an AD envelope, and will begin decay as soon as the attack stage is complete. In Cycle mode, the end pulse is fed back to the envelope input, and will force the envelope to re-trigger. In this mode, the Envelator output functions as a shaped triangle waveform LFO. When in Cycle mode, the SQR output acts as a square wave LFO with the pulse width determined by the settings of the A and D controls. This output can also be used to clock.
Malekko is thrilled to offer the Richter NoiseRing in eurorack format. Sanctioned by Grant Richter of Wiard Synthesizer Company, this module is the same as the original Model 1210, only in 14hp eurorack format.
The Malekko/Richter Oscillator II is a great-sounding, solid analog Oscillator/LFO with some serious tricks up its sleeve.Fine and Coarse frequency controls are provided. Volt per octave and exponential (with attenuator) CV frequency inputs are provided. An output for each waveform is provided (Sine/Triangle/Square/Saw). A second series of outputs are provided for phase-modulated versions of the Triangle, Square, and Saw waveforms. The phase of the 2nd series of waveforms is determined by the Phase control, along with the Phase CV input (with attenuator). Many great modulation effects can be produced by using the various outputs of this Oscillator in a patch. Push the LFO control switch to enter low range, and your Oscillator becomes a phase-modulated LFO! Set the 2nd series of outputs to a 90 degree offset and use external inverters to achieve full quadrature output.
One of our favorite patches with this module is modulating another oscillator's frequency and sending the modulated oscillator's output back to the Oscillator's Phase Mod input. Phase-Mod-Synced FM!
The Sine wave provided by the Malekko Richter Oscillator II is one of the purest of any analog Oscillator, and the TRI2 out is as pure as the driven snow!
Class compliant on both PC and Mac.
Unity Mixer also supports CV so the SWITCH button makes this module a great option for rerouting combinations of signals on the fly and is perfect for live performance!
The Malekko Wiard Boogie filter features a resonant low pass, two audio inputs, two cv inputs (one key in and one with attenuator) and outputs for 6dB, 12dB, 18dB and 24dB. There are two user-friendly jumpers on the back of the Wiard Boogie that control the phase of the 12 and 24dB outputs.
With a choice of four filter slopes at the outputs, the Malekko Wiard Boogie Filter is a resonant low-pass design more versatile than most.
