Track 1 (10:16)
Track 2 (9:07)
Review: Ukraine's iO Mulen is back and he's really killing it at the moment. Not content with running the Mulen and Mulen People imprints he's launched a third label Moi (get it?) which is up to its fifth release. We can't really tell why he started it and what makes it different from his other outlets but to be honest we're not complaining when his output is this good; the more the better! "Track 1" has a tough and rolling groove comparable to his recent hit "Stick Out" on Cardinal; real sleek. On flip "Track 2" gets some funky cyclic groove happening that's hypnotic as much as it is infectious. As with all of this guy's releases they're hot and limited so get in quick.

Review: You can never have too much Point G right? Self-professed 'long-time galaxy traveller' and all round French production legend Gregory Darsa is never shy when it comes to putting out music, be it fresh cuts, alternate takes on classic or unreleased gems from his personal archive. This Classics & Unreleased Jams double pack is the latest in a long line of Point G releases in multiple platter format and will have the selectors out there salivating. Issued on Cabanne & Eric V's Minibar label, the seven cuts featured canvas punchy house workouts to deeper tracks and more minimally-minded groovers. Do check Cabanne's own edit of "Mister Dallas" in particular!

Zefzeed - "Coconut Milf"
Cosmjn & Lizz - "Berto"
Direkt - "Drone"
Review: After successful two releases Hoxton Records is back with yet another VA compilation featuring equally talented three producers from Romania. Zefzeed has been behind the decks for over 10 years and producing since 2009. In 2013 he was signed with BodyParts Records and started working with vinyl only record labels. Cosmjn & Lizz duo work speaks for itself as it has already amassed the support from Petre Inspirescu, Barac, New Zau and Sepp. These guys are extremely talented and produce the tracks with inspiring harmonies. Bucharest based producer Direkt is a hidden gem. Being the youngest producer on Hoxton Records label, he is definitely the one to watch. This vinyl only release is showcasing the artist that are creating the music worth collecting.

Review: APOENA get his tracks played by names such as Delano Smith, Luke Hess, Agoria, Baby Ford, Jus Ed (etc...) since his first record out. Known to bring groove into deepness, the brazilian producer may be showing his stronger record so far with "Intense EP". The A Side provides prime driving stuff while B Side take the mood to a more profound level.

Not Worried
Oriane
Stella
Imva
Review: Detroit Wax presents the first EP of a series of three from the Godfather of Techno Soul, Eddie Fowlkes. This first EP DW/0011, deep and classy, is a perfect introduction to the new direction Eddie wants to take. Four tracks that will bring you further into the groove, from a sweaty nightclub to a poetic walk in the woods. Side A is designed as a wonder that starts with the perfect spell, SideA.(1)"No Worries", which creates a unique mood you want to listen to more and more. The second track SideA.(2)"Oriane" is hypnosis itself like a long journey where dance lead to transe. Side B is about dancing, first with SideB.(1)"Stella" where the sound remind us of the classical French Touch sound with the irresistible voice of Eddie on top of that. The last track SideB.(2)" Imva" is going through your body instantaneously and makes you want to let yourself carried by the music. A complete EP, which shows the versatility of the Detroit artist, and will make you chilling as much as dancing!

Choice Of Ancillaries (9:13)
Grounds & Shields (9:30)
Review: It's been all SIT on Amphia of late with founders Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia appeasing fans by doing the right thing and reissuing their 2015 3LP Sideways over a trio of 12"s. The focus returns to freshness once more as the Amphia catalogue reaches double digits and welcomes the refined talents of Lazar Cezar into the fold. Cezar is hardly the most prolific of producers so it's nice to see Cons and Caia have coaxed some new cuts out of the Bucharest-based boss of the Understand label and The Balancing Act 12" is a neat fit for Amphia. The Latin American influences embedded in "Choice Of Ancillaries" contrast delightfully with the darker approach taken on "Grounds And Shields", with a more acoustic signature sewn graciously around the incisive bassline.

Subb-An - "Feel For You" (7:15)
Walker - "Confessions" (7:09)
The Willers Brothers - "Can You Get Up" (6:37)
Julien Sandre - "Ordinary Madness" (5:49)
Review: Berlin's Beste Modus is run by local stalwarts Cinthie, Diego Krause, Ed Herbst, stevn.aint.leavn & Albert Vogt. For the third edition of Beste Freunde, they have onboard some of the biggest names in tech house at present and they're all throwing down some wicked grooves. On the A side Birmingham's Subb-An gives us the raw, stripped and jacking "Feel For You" which beats that 808 good and hard with some familiar samples over the top. Next, the stripped dub techno of Walker's "Confessions" lends some variety to the release; fans of the Fachwerk sound will dig this one. On the flip, London's The Willers Brother gives us the rolling and minimal deep house of "Can You Get Up?" which is perfect for afterhours hypnotism and finally back into the jackin' house side of things courtesy of Frenchman Julien Sandre with tough yet sexy groove of "Ordinary Madness"

Fragile (6:46)
Instamatic (6:24)
DF-23 (7:00)
Ride (7:57)
Review: Some new material from Englishman Lee Norris, an underrated producer who's been around since the late 90s with sporadic releases for the likes of Delsin, Hydrogen Jukebox and Combination Records. The Fragile EP is presented by Lisbon's Assemble Music and is a fine return to form with four cuts of emotive and soulful minimal house with a classic late nineties feel for fans of the likes of Theorem, Swayzak or Donnacha Costello. Starting out with the dusty and emotive ambient house of "Fragile" it's then onto the dark and hypnotic groove of "Neat Buzzl" with its bleeps working against a funky broken beat. On the flip "DF-23" and "Ride" are deep space grooves with a nod to 313 style futurism and hi tech soul aesthetics with some gorgeously emotive strings and lot of funk to boot.

Florist - "Blacky" (5:59)
Christian Jay & Crump - "GG3" (7:14)
Review: Bristol's Banoffee Pies are back with their 11th edition. But as far it goes musically: this certainty ain't Bristol! Starting out with the smoothly reduced tendencies of local lad Christian Jay's "Rhotic" which sounds inspired by the sounds of Trelik, there's more of the same (albeit much dubbier and smoked out) on "Starry Nite Life" courtesy of Utrecht's Larry de Kat; very paranoid afterhour vibes on this one! On the flip we've got some more dubbed out fare courtesy of Christian Jay, again, who enlists a bit of help from Crump on the rusty and dust coated "GG3". All Caps artist Florist adds a touch of Vancouver to proceedings with the squelchy DJ tool "Blacky."

Memory Soul (10:27)
Freack Me (12:56)
Review: London's Eastenderz have previously presented us work by Priku Patrice Meiner and doubtingthomas and are back with another killer release. You only need listen to the first few second of "Memory Soul" to realise that this Lizz is Romanian. Subtle, hypnotic and high tech are the first descriptions that come to mind when trying to describe this sublime groove over ten and half minutes that you'll wish never end. On the flip "Freack Me" uses that very vocal refrain over its reductionist avant garde groove that is perfect for 9AM Sunday in a Bucharest club for when things needs to get really weird.

H2E (7:35)
Tinisjob (6:37)
Neonarbe (6:37)
Review: Frankfurters Cedric Dekowsky & Felix Reifenberg's collaborations have appeared on a who's who of new wave minimal labels in the Hessen area such as 87, Hardworksoftdrink and Pressure Trax. They now take the reins for the second release of Belgian new imprint Kontrast with the Vaseline EP. "H2E" has that quirky and bumpy mini-funk groove reminiscent of Pantytec. On the flip "Tinisjob" is very tripped out indeed; driving and sleazy house for a wasted afternoon at Club der Visonaere while closing out proceedings is "Neonarabe" this one is plain weird and crosses over interestingly into electro territory much like Oner Ozer and Binh have also done to interesting effect lately too.

Pan Pacific (8:43)

Black Pepper Crab (7:47)
Review: Established back in 2011, Singapore's Midnight Shift label has grown to reflect the diverse bookings across the house and techno spectrum that pepper their associated club nights. For example, the past four 12"s from the label have spanned Andreas Gehm, John Heckle, Eduardo De La Calle and Portuguese producer Kaspar. Up next it is Colin 'Mr. G' McBean whose Ternasek 12" arrives amidst a rich vein of killer singles from the man widely regarded as genuine UK house royalty. According to Midnight Shift, these three tracks were made after McBean was struck with inspiration on a visit to the Singaporean city of the same name, with aural markers of his time there sunk deep into the pulsing functionalism of the productions. As with the majority of Mr G material, this are prime club grade tech-edged house rollers.

Expozed (8:20)
Slow Down (9:27)
Review: Romanians Vinyl Speed Adjust are back following a run of killer releases for the likes of Visionquest, Pressure Traxx and of course their eponymous imprint. On the A side "Expozed" is another fine example of the duo's advanced minimal sound with enough tempo and energy to blow the roof off any venue, small or big. Rolling bass, tight/fierce rhythms and sci-fi samples all working in perfect harmony. On the flip, "Slow Down" sounds more raw and greyscale; the bass one this one is throbbing and the drums are harsh and metallic 909 style jams with the rest of the track drowned in reverb. Sounds reminiscent of Marco Carola's Question series from the early noughties.

Crystal (Faster remix) (7:08)
Review: London's Rich NXT is back and the emerging producer is on fire at the moment with releases on FUSE London and now Vicenza, Italy based imprint HUND with the Crystal EP. On the A side "Automotion" has that bleepy and glitchy groove that's similar to Akufen stuff on Perlon way back. On the flip the title track is rolling deep and funky minimal house' a style that no doubt caught the attention of Enzo Siragusa; this one is definitely afterhours ready. The track also comes in a "Faster remix" which despite it's name is actually more of a dubby and reduced version; which works well too!

La Buena Onda
Sincopa Y Contratiempo
Review: Spanish musician Alex Font delivers the third release from his acme imprint this May with two groove led cuts set for a limited release of 200 copies on vinyl.
Since his first release in 2008, Alex Font has been etching his name into the worlds of house and minimal, building up an impressive back catalogue of releases on labels including Oblack and Nite Grooves. His imprint acme's debut release '001' garnered support from Dyed Soundorom, Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler, San Proper and Sascha Dive amongst many, and Font returns to deliver the third instalment in the labels catalogue.
'La Buena Onda' kicks off the release with a series of punchy kicks, organic percussion licks and general funkiness before easing into a classic house groove reinforced by its compelling lead line and charming vocals. Second offering 'Sincopa y Contratiempo' switches things up with a minimal arrangement of shuffling hats, glitchy pops and clicks, a distinctly off-kilter swing and delicate nuances throughout its near 12 minute journey.

Review: Pierre Codarin has been hitting the underground circuit for the past few years releasing material on respected labels and his own eponymous imprint. On the A side Awaken" is the kind of rolling and hypnotic minimal house for big dancefloors that Mulen and Djebali fans will admire. "Neve Nudes" is more stripped back and loopy with its infectious funky bassline and swing fuelled rhythm, Finally "Under Me" ends things on a deep house notes on this classic 90's Chicago vibe which is very convincing.

On the A side we've got "Bang Like Sims" a restrained and minimal yet tough DJ tool that will no doubt appeal to even the British legend namesake himself. Next up is the funky and tropical Afro beat of "We The People" which is a right party starter guaranteed. On the flip "I Like Em Dirty" has got the sexy, late night deep house vibe and finally "One 4 Kenny" stays on the with deep house vibe bit more enertically with bongo drums and emotive keys.
