SUPERIOR VIBES (AUGUST 2016)

1. This cosmic AOR wonder stole my heart many moons ago, and I'm happy to get my hands on it the right way, legit and re-styled in the now great MFM tradition, instead of an unimaginative bootleg or draining my Paypal for someones bargain luck original.

2 Dry balearic house with a weird depth, plus some ok ambient too. Sounds like a winner for this fresh Danish label.

3. Quite an interesting turn from an otherwise slick and quite boring edit label to re-invent itself with this awkward lo-fi kalimba house mind bomb. On single sided 7" no less, wtf?

4. The truest progression of form for psychedelic music I've heard in some time. Eerie, gritty and intense yet very elegant.

5. The re-issue game is strong here, giving us a chance to experience this allaround killer album and its strangely contemporary sound. But most of all it gets me a chance to spin the weirdo groover "Tempete".

6. Man I wish I had made these edits, that's how damn good they are. Not fearing the borders of cheesy but sorting it just enough for the tightest of grooves to show.

7. Look past the filler tracks on the A-side, this is all about the "Media Vision" and its perfect pace that needs exactly 12:04 minutes to unfold.

8. I've always held Timothy J. Fairplay to be promising, until I found out I had mistaken his remix for the Kris Baha '86 remix and thought "this is the best I've heard of him" until I realized this is the first I've heard of him. So, in simpler terms, Kris Baha '86 is a VERY promising name and the main reason to get this record.

9. Digging the "Presence" here, but also the "Dropkick!" that precedes it. Daring stuff to put into a DJ-set.

10. More Bahnstieg 23 and here with one of my favourite DJs putting two killers on the A-side.
