Born in Salvador, Bahia, the DJ and producer " Mauro Telefunksoul is a lover of black music. The marked rhythm and break beats are some characteristics of the sound of this versatile musician, whose main influences all aspects of black music, more rock and electronica.

Nine years ago Telefunksoul Mauro is part of the collective electronic music Pragatecno, which includes DJs from the north and northeast. Through the group, conducted several projects on electronic music in Salvador, one of the pioneers of the style in the city. Outside Bahia, played in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Manaus, Recife, Maceió, Fortaleza, Aracaju, Piaui, Paraiba and Minas Gerais.

In 2008, he produced, along with musician Tadeu Mascarenhas, the poet Ildásio Tavares CD entitled "The Flowers of Chaos." Besides DJ-piste Telefunksoul Mauro also has projects with bands. Among them, Black Color, which was pleased to record three programs at Globo (Jô Soares, Brazil and Sound Station Globe), and Sambatrônica, samba band that mixes the root of the electron.
